Hearing Brady talking about defenses and his mindset is just great

The way Colin words his questions is really masterful. He doesn’t put Tom in a awkward, uncomfortable spot but still gets good info and insight from him
Agreed, in the hands of a less skilled host that Belichick question could’ve been awkward, but Colin worded it perfectly to avoid the question of “If Belichick will get hired or not”, instead focusing on Tom’s insight into Belichick’s passion for football and coaching.
Foreal.... You don't always have to agree with his takes. But you'd be ignorant to not realize he's just flat out good at his job
The lede question about Edelman was so money. Loosening him up. Colin’s the GOAT. These are two GOATS. Only Pats chasing Tom. No one is close to Colin

Brady using the example of Djokovic was perfect... Novak is the master of adapting
Mayweather was like that too, he would give away the first round or 2 just to feel the other fighter out and by round 5 you were toast lol.

Mj doesn't even talk bro
MJ has great respect for his predecessors from what I’ve seen
@@wm_9640 disagree…he criticizes the game for being way too easy for the players and after listing players he would like to play 1-1 with (Lebron, Melo, Jerry West etc.), he ended with “and I don’t think I’d lose” 🤣
One player like MJ, LeBron, Kobe, etc are far more capable of making the difference for a team in basketball than football though. The goats of the NBA have or had to at least be excellent in every aspect of the game. The Bulls would have been good without Jordan, but they wouldn't have been legendary without him.
Tom mentioning Rivers made me smile. Even the GOAT knows how good he was even though he doesn’t get the respect as much as he should.
What are you talking about? Brady mentioning Rivers means absolutely nothing. This man owns Rivers. Rivers has never beaten Brady (0-7). Most casual Chargers fans think Rivers is good but he wasn't. Dude put up numbers, but it's all empty calories. Never balled when it counted.

He mentioned Peyton first because he was his true rival and his best competition.
I respect that Tom mentioned Philip Rivers in his list of great QB leaders. Rivers and Brady had a couple awesome and memorable battles.

Bay Area/Northern California. I’ve lived in a few places but the authenticity and chillness of people in that region of the country is unmatched
Two of the greats. Loved the interview
You wont find more decorative and upbeat than Brady. Say what you want about him, being happy and motivating others he has never failed at.
I agree. He has this presence. Even when he played better, he'd always be quick to point out how he coulda played better.
As much as I want to relive the shouting of the TV when New England seemed to flummoxed the Colts early and often, you can’t do anything but appreciate the behind-the-scenes insight on why Tom played at the highest level there in his career.
But, I am not going to let uncle Collins and his friends post this media bringing up the interesting poetic justice that everything he is describing is the description of Brock Purdy. Tom set the template and whatever parties career will be, this isn’t a bad formula to follow .
7:20 that’s straight lessons right there.
Although I love my shadow career trolling: on his social media, it doesn’t pay the bills. That preparation in putting one in that position of nervousness, and overcoming that. That’s the stuff of corporate training programs and leadership executive courses.
This makes me think he’s going to be the goat of the broadcast
I like Tom and hope he does well but I feel really bad for Greg Olsen. He's done a great job as the lead. Kinda wish Greg would get picked up by Amazon and take over for Herbstreit.
You mean Al Michaels??
@@TYreLL0416Well Greg is an analyst, not a pbp announcer

Somehow Tom has better lighting dialing in from wherever he’s at than Colin in his studio.
Why is Colin interviewing Justin Bieber?
Lamar and Josh shouldn't even be in the same sentence as Mahomes
Don’t shoot me for saying this but i think the qb in the league who we’ll see go toe to toe with Mahomes multiple times and there going at it next week, also im not talking physically am talking mentally Mahomes and Purdy are the two qb that can instantly read the defense so this sb is going to be great
@elijahpond2008 Purdy is showing great development in his 2nd year but I think the moment will be very large for him and the defense isn't built to stop the chiefs with a lead. In my opinion but Purdy could be great along with Jordan love. CJ stroud could be something also but Love I have on my radar
@@elijahpond2008Mann heck naw. If you watch purdy play he isn’t reading defenses Is great receiving corp and hb. I’m telling you once he lose kids a couple pieces he going to be benched. I feel Purdy needs a team to make him good while Tom/Mahomes make the team better regardless.

A healthy burrow is the only thing that could maybe be in the same conversation
Brady has always been fond of Edelman. Every time he talks about that guy, he is giving him his flowers! With that being said, after watching this and seeing his enthusiasm when it come to talking about football, I actually can't wait to see him as an analyst on Fox.
Tom is so classy and always says the right words and gives credit to everyone on the team

You can tell Tom Brady has practiced a lot in this interview. He was prepared and ready!
Crazy rooting against Tom all those years and now everytime I hear him talk , everytime I see him I’m just smiling . Love you Tom glad we still get to have you around .
You forget sometimes that Tom is just a human. Great to see him in a different light.
The goat I cannot believe they are comparing Patrick Mahomes to Tom Brady. Patrick Mahomes is the third greatest quarterback of all time, and I am a Raiders fan saying that but he is not better then Joe Montana or Tom Brady.
I still think it’s too early for him to be top 3. My top 3 would be Brady, Montana, and Manning but you also have Marino Favre Rodgers etc. Too early but he’s well on his way, just has to keep doing what he’s doing and he’ll be there
Great interview
Mahomes is a dominant QB you can't take it away from him but if he wins SB next weekend its still way to early to tell on that greatest of all time talk. However if KC wins next weekend they'll be compared to the 90s Cowboys dynasty.
I agree. Got to have at least 4-5 SB rings to be in the Brady conversation. If Chiefs win this one and then win another in the next 2-3 years i would feel comfortable putting them up there but not yet
@hugh-jasole bro winning a super bowl is a team achievement, patrick does not need to win 4 or 5 superbowls to be considered the goat, he just needs to play the best of his abilities and win mvps and lead the league in statistical categories year in and year out

@@miles2176The only reason I would disagree with that is because there are other guys who statistically were better than Brady, but it doesn’t mean anything if we can’t contextualize it with championships
@Bighoodiekid why do we have to contextualize it with championships, that's like saying that a teacher is the best because she teacher of the year award but another teacher has more passing students in her than the teacher who won teacher of the year

Not quite. Michael Jordan and David Robinson were both hall of fame inductees of the same class. Listen to the contrast in their two acceptance speeches if you REALLY want to hear the difference between narcissistic arrogance and gracious humility.
Brady was a goat during his era and now Mahomes is a goat in his own right. I feel fortunate watching them play QB.
yeah people always gotta make these arguments where it's one extreme vs the opposite extreme and that's it lol they can't just appreciate greatness without finding something else to cut down in the process, it's a weird adversarial trait that society seems to breed into our common mentality
