I just learned this “inverted half guard” a couple of months ago and I would sometimes struggle with freeing the knee. This is genius. Thank you. Very simple and effective.
By earthquake do you mean "kipping?"
You can call it whatever you want as long as you remember it when you need it!! I just think of kipping as using your entire body in a constant movement. This is just your leg.
