Punalur suspension bridge # പുനലൂർ തൂക്കുപാലം

Punalur suspension bridge is situated in punalur in the district of kollam in kerala state. It was built in 1877 by Britishers across the kallada river. This bridge is one of the important tourist place in kollam district. Nobody dont have any idea about the engineering behind the construction of the bridge. it still remains as a mistery. The iron rods of the bridge is fixed in the wells and nobody knows the technique.
