Thanks for an excellent video. Large, low cost, sustainable, No-CO2 energy

Dear Canadian citizen, please remember who is paying this 11billion. Ultimately - you are 😢
And not just financially: as stated here it took one of their classic govt 'exemptions' to circumvent HUGE concerns in many areas including environmental damage.

And yet we still need it. There are no options that have zero environmental impact. The price is high, but not compared to other dams, so it's not overpriced. Seems like the sort of thing tax payer money should be spent on.

@eldarshamukhamedov4521 There are few options that have zero environmental/climate impact... But there are plenty of options that would drastically reduce environmental/climate impact...
Tackling over-consumption and waste are two obvious answers: does anyone REALLY need a new phone, car, or whatever, every year or so - just as a vulgar display of status or for greed?
As a personal example - my mobile phone contract was up for renewal this year, and I had the option of a 'free' new 'latest generation' phone. I said "No - the one I have does the job perfectly and was still working perfectly fine."
I could have taken that new phone and kept it as a display of status.
I could have taken the new phone and sold it in a display of greed.
But I chose not to because it was a pointless exercise in waste: wasting a perfectly good working phone... As well as saving the waste of resources and the environmental cost of making the new phone and shipping it halfway round the planet.
But the world is run by business, and these businesses are concerned only with generating perceived need and consumption. And I think therein lies the fundamental problem... There's a lot of things we don't really need - but multiple influences tell us we do: all of which has a cost - which we could avoid by simply not doing it.
My mobile phone story is only one of a simply staggering number of things that I could quote; highlighting the problem.

If your going to show a city in Canada at the same time as mentioning British Columbia don’t show a photo of Toronto. It really shows the amateur nature of this video and undercuts much of your credibility.

Thank you for pointing that out. We'll keep that in mind for next time 😊

This reminds me of hybrid cars that are supposed to be more "green" to the environment only for us to learn that the "environmental" cost of building a single hybrid car is (hopefully was) more polluting than driving an ICE vehicle
