“So I am coming to America I hope we’re gonna have a good time” Hits really hard when you know the reality
Webale K'naan! I'm sitting here in the ATL listening and singing as I cry. Thank you for reaching out to the world and sharing. To those people criticizing: He is telling a true story of many people in many lands. Doesn't matter if you like it or not.
Nawe webale nyo sebo
K'naan...damn Truth... only people who have gone through the struggle of settling into the society in the West can comprehend the deep message this song has for millions of immigrants from the Motherland....

I can relate to that line about the grenade because in 2000s in Mogadishu grenades were dumped on the streets, as kids we would play with them as a ball many kids lost their lives like this including some of my Koran school friends Awil and Liban may they rest in heaven when it exploded while kicking it around.
Thanks for sharing! Sorry for your losses. Keep hanging on my friend.

What is the software you are using to create the typography?
You should be grateful for everything we have here. Try living in Somalia for a day & you'll understand.
@SylenceDogood1 New York City, where they stayed briefly before moving to Canada, to the Toronto neighbourhood of Rexdale, where there was a large Somali community and his family still resides. There, K'naan began learning English, partly by listening to hip hop albums by artists like Nas and Rakim. Born in Somalia, K'naan spent his childhood in Mogadishu and lived there during the Somali Civil War,
