I'm 61 and was bullied since 1st grade due to my appearance and clothes. I had an overbite and came from a poor family so we didn't have much. I was bullied until I couldn't take it anymore and dropped out. I skipped so much school and the sad part was I loved to learn and was basically kept from learning in school. I'm self taught. But the scars are still with me sadly. However times were so much different back than. You didn't even think about getting a gun or taking your father's gun (and my father had a gun). Those thoughts never came to my mind. Getting back or even or doing anything to anybody never crossed my mind. But yes the scars still stick with me. I'm not making excuses for anybody but bullying MUST STOP!!!

I will be 61 this year. I too was bullied because I was always the new girl and the other girls were jealous of me. My family moved every 2 to 3 years. I hated the bullying but honestly it made me a stronger person. Things don’t really bother me much. And I honestly feel the kids that bully they are bullied by their parents at home. I feel like it’s an outlet for them. And when I was in sixth grade I took the gun safety at school. I think they called it a hunter safety course so I could get a hunting license.

I was 11 years old when I watched John F Kennedy get shot in 1963. I remember so well. I was living in a foster home with a 69 year old woman that took care of me till I turned 18
I was also 11 years old in an industrial school or institution when JFK was murdered. The nun hunted us up to bed. Peter Lawford was starring in a programme called The Thin Man so we were pissed off we wouldn't see the end of it. I was in Kilkenny, Ireland in a small town. It left its mark on me. All my bookshelves around the house have books on the Kennedys. The modern Democrats would not be the Kennedy type Democrats. I hope life was good to you given your risky start. 23.27 now so going to sleep.

I've not seen any coverage of trump's attending physician from the hospital he was taken to, yesterday. Because Trump is elderly and the wound was on his head, as a nurse, I am stunned that Trump wasn't admitted for at least a 24 hour observation following such a traumatic event.

My husband has been a first responder over 40 years, 38 as a medic, and cardiac ER RN. That doctor said it best, first responders see people and their families during the worst days of their lives. It was awesome that the doctor stepped up to try to help FF Corey C. Corey would have done the same for him. My heart goes out to Corey's family and the other injured.
