- Alan meets and interviews the Norwich Bell Ringers who try and get a bit too deep for this festive special. Have a mince pie!
Taken From the Christmas Special of classic comedy Knowing Me Knowing You (1994) which saw Steve Coogan’s bumbling sports anchor character from The Day Today (1994) get a shot at his own “chat show.” This is Knowing Me Knowing Yule from 1995.
This is a channel from BBC Studios who help fund new BBC programmes. Service information and feedback: www.bbcstudios.com/contact/co... - Zábava
There’s just something so wonderful about this episode, I was a young boy around this time and the styles and fashions of the 90s and this whole style of TV which it mimics is such a vivid memory for me
So good
It's not mimicking. It's from the early 90s.
@@sonofJurell you’ve misunderstood my comment - I’m fully aware that this was set in the present day at the time (maybe around 1994). I’m stating that it mimics real tv programs of the time very well, I.e it’s a very accurate parody
@@rkent06 then, yes. You're right.
@@sonofJurellthis is great banter
That "fair enough" at 0:23 totally made this video. :-D
I love his conversation with Glenn POnder and Andy lol
Whatever happened to Glenn Ponder... and all his bands?!
@@Rebecca236 Just went back to being an Ipswich hotel lobby wine bar band.
MINCE PIES
have a mince pie
Great rendition of Ding Dong by Hucknall.
peel my bell
"Andy bought me a silk kimono"
This special aired on Friday 29th December 1995. It was actually filmed in Teddington Studios, Alan said at the start of the special it was at BBC Television Centre.
That Patridge! Honestly, can't trust a thing that comes from his mouth! That's why he made such a poor spokesperson for those products, I'd wager.
😱
Is it in this special when he shows off the Vitesse in a hilariously OTT product placement sort of way?
@@visionist7 it is
Anyone working at Curry's should have a basic knowledge of Latin.
I like Alan's barely disguised homophobia !
"Glen, are you a porn legend?"
@@thegoat5141and not an anal dirge prat ! 😂
" Keep it light "
yes
Nice mock up.
Glen and Andy went for a bbq at Alan's on new year's eve
Glen and Andy enjoy a bit of stuffing at christmas.
More like a spit roast, I'd have thought...
Glen and Andy pulled a few crackers
Bell-ringers of Norwich Cathedral, hah I wish...
Ivan Brackenbury is Glenn Ponder's boyfriend!
Holy crap, you're right. Things not looking so bright for Ivan (Tom Binns) now!
Never liked the Vitesse hatchback. 827 Sterling
Ivan Bekenbury!!!!!
Glen Ponder, porn legend!
Norwich Cathedral has no manually ringable bells as they are all rung electronically, so they don't have bell ringers...
Hand bells.
They were holding them.
a-ha
Take on me. Take me on. On me take. On take me. Me on take. Me take on.
Why all the Partridge videos? Even the BBC CZcams page has a Partridge banner in the background. Isn't he on Sky now anyway? Not exactly complaining, just a bit weird.
What's even weirder is that the BBC wouldn't be able to make them now.
Yes and all the sex on Corn Flakes packets is terrible..isn't it.
People are having sex on packets of corn flakes? Doesn't seem like it could be terribly comfortable.
Kellogg's Cornflakes were invented to prevent young men abusing themselves.
QI had a section about it on one of their episodes.
Bill Whithers is no longer with us
Ain't no sunshine, now he's gone.
God is a gas a gas with legs? 😂
That was just a rondom piece of Alan partridge. Epic fail.
Poly Orchid Any piece of Alan Partridge is a good piece.
Spoken like a dosser and a dwad.
Ah, when Coogan was actually funny instead of the far-left activist bore he’s become.
Enough of the Partridge BBC Worldwide... You've been uploading these for months...
Liofa no amount of partridge is too much
Cornwall1888 Well said
SuperZedd but up must admit not many people like it I mean this channel has over 1 million subscribers and the partridge stuff gets about 3,000 views and 7 comments, terrible
No one!
Liofa alan partridge is great
