You've been misinformed about what the "NF Journey" is. The NF journey is doing EVERY NF song. Ideally, you'd do every song in order of being released so you can really hear and notice his progression and improvement. But, doing them out of order is better than not at all. The NF journey isn't finished until you've done every song.
