- This song speaks of healing power and medicine of Woman, the Moon and the Earth Herself. "Machi" is a word that comes from the Mapuche people of Chile and Argentina. A Machi is a medicine woman and sometimes also refers to a medicine man. May the images here remind us all what a miracle this life is. May we see that though tender and vulnerable our Earth is wise and resilient beyond all measure. "Where there is Love there is Life " and here there is a lot of Love. Blessed Be.

My Mother was a nurse and she was both the softest and strongest person I've ever known by far. All her life she tried and succeeded to leave people, pets, and even things she owned better off for having crossed her path. She was Mexican by blood but had a worldly-ness about her spirit. She comforted and nursed back to life many, many, people that crossed her path. In July of this year she took her last breath and this song made a 53 year old man weep like a baby because it best personified who she was. My hope is that I'll see her again and convey thru spirit what she meant to me, because really I just didn't have the words when she was alive.
if you feel that strong a connection, I strongly doubt she has ever really left you or that you will ever be disconnected again in spirit, incarnate or not. No matter the face, the body, the time, you will meet and feel that connection again and know who it is, of that I am sure.

Machi- Peia was played at the second day of ayahuasca ceremony. I'd never heard it before at the time, and ive never experienced such a profound moment of ecstasy, freedom and carelessness. All prior boundaries didn't matter anymore even death was perfect. I saw myself pursue my dreams and willing life to my ambitions. Had a big personal shift that night. A fiery determination and hunger for life lit. This beautiful song still makes me cry. 🙏🌄🥹

I’m guessing you were here in Aotearoa New Zealand before 9/11 closed the worlds airports down.
Ironically my wife and I were tripping around Europe and ended up in Turkey on a wonderful adventure … when we returned home here to Aotearoa NZ we were beyond happy to feel the earth of our motherland under my feet and to swim again in the pacific
1 month later 9/11 exploded the world

I have to say Peia's voice is the best out there because she has no fear when she sings and it blessed her deeply. All of her training was worth it but besides that, there is something very special about her and her fearless being.

Itbused to be amazing, until corporations raped this place for profit. Now its hell on earth, people are separated from the earth and to compensate from the loss they take drugs, smoke, drink a lotnof alcohol etc just to get through another sh1tty day. I guess this place is whatbyou make of it, hence I don't partake in this disgusting modern world. The only issue is its a lonely road, too many people care about themselves only. Make of it what you will but this place is not a nice place to be anymore.
