As a Muslim and father of two daughters الحمد لله for your story, My daughters have been observing hijab from childhood out of choice simply by observing their mother, children need who better than their parents providing their role models are from the rightly guided, such as our Prophet PBUH and the Mother of the believers. I feel obligated to share your story with my daughters جزاك الله خير for the upload.

Wow subhanallah. I'm actually seriously reconsidering my career choice becauseof this. I haven't had cable in years but if I did, I would do what that old lady did and switch companies just so I could watch you deliver your amazing stories like a boss. Thank you for reminding me that I don't have to compensate my values in order to achieve great things, that Allah is sufficient for us and that we should never give up.
    Bismillah
May Allah protect you from witch craft, envy, jealousy and the whisper of shaytaan. And may He give you steadfastness and continuous inner strength to keep on keeping on. May He give you good health and protection from harm that which we know and do not know of. May He continue to put barakah in everything you do, give you beneficial knowledge, and make your speech eloquent. Ameen.

The path with Allah is always the path worth taking. Very inspiring words there from the sister. Speaking from my own personal experience i can most certainly relate. I think a lot of our muslim sisters are being discriminated against in our work places. Some of us has years of experience, possess the necessary skills and knowledge and are more then capable of doing the job are for some reason just tossed aside and downgraded/ downsized to the lowest level jobs. This is the sad reality a lot of us are facing but Allah knows best.

This got me bawling my eyes out... I live in Norway which is a strongly liberal country, and being a Muslim women is linked to ignorance, oppression, sad, incapable and most of all not good enough and less. Coming from the uk in 2014, I grew up in a Muslim community and I graduated from an Islamic secondary school and coming here and facing those objectives broke me in every way and made the confident me not so confident any more. I realized that muslm girls who wear pants or are not hijabs are considered progressive and that made me feel less and question everything I beleived in. I'm glad I came across this video and yaqeen institute. May Allah reward everyone who brought this speech to light.
