*points camera towards bottle of lotion* "Looks like a teenager's room." But seriously, the downstairs looked like it had been set up for an estate sale or something, then just abandoned.
Too much hassle, lots of work. Rural area I live in, auction guys come in and do that for them, and advertise and auction everything off. But take a hefty cut. No hassle for owner, though. They do all the work. (Usually can spot a large dumpster somewhere full of junk/garbage that's sorted/thrown out before the auction day, too)
It wouldn't take too much to bring that one back. I didn't see any major roof damage or foundation damage at all, and I can't believe that all of that furniture is still in there. What a find ! I have a question though, if the "teenagers" bedroom was upstairs, where was the other bedroom ? Did I miss it ? Great video Farm Hunter, enjoyed it.
I know my great grandparents were farmers in Wisconsin (immigrants from Denmark), and I know you're in Minnesota but when I see these videos, I can't help but wonder what about their life through seeing these homes.
I LOVE your channel. I live in Milwaukee and so many exploration opportunities are REALLY dangerous so I'm going to start driving out to the country and FARM HUNT! Thanks for the inspiration!
Some people spent a lot of time packing up the house, but then just abandoned it. I love "secret" rooms and I love a good mystery. I hope you can go back sometime and do a follow-up. Thanks for taking us along!
Hey Farm Hunter, yes, I agree, strange layout, especially seeing a super thick door to a hidden room. What really caught my attention was the Dr Alan Masters apothecary Victorian display case and if it’s real it can fetch a pretty penny. Thank you for the explore! 👍😊
It's always a pleasure to immerse myself in your videos. I really feel like I am transported with you to the places you visit. It would have been fun to see inside the outside buildings, but you had valid reasons for not wishing to go there. Thanks for your efforts and the time it takes to share these videos!
Interesting house Farm Hunter. Perhaps the screen door to the upstairs was to keep out bugs in the summer? My guess is a teen living with grandma like you said. Now used for storage. There are lots of empty old houses that people will not sell. I don't get it. Thanks for taking us with you. Stay warm
Certainly one of the weirder abandoned houses you've ever visited, imo. Full of stuff that could have been sold for a bunch of cash, yet it was left there somewhat organized. These houses always leave me wondering what happened to its owners/residents. My grandparents from both sides have died, the inheritance was a messy situation and I suspect when they all pass away too (parents, uncles, etc) that it may end up like these houses. The sons and daughters of my uncles and aunties don't really care about my grandparents even when they were alive, unless it was to receive some cash.
I had to chuckle when you showed the shower and said, "disgusting". Years ago we moved into a house and I went to clean the red shower. It looked like this one, but was all "red" turns out it wasn't red...it was GOLD!! I had to scrub all the minerals off it and then we got a water softener and it quite happening. Just funny how water can do that. It looked like there was a door or opening to the right of the screen door that lead to the upstairs. Was there something there? You didn't open it, but I just wasn't sure.
Farm Hunter thanks my friend for sharing this video with me about this old farm house and the house did not look that bad and thanks for taking your time to sharing it with me and God Bless.
Yea, sadly, i think this is another find where an elderly person died, the family came to box up the house, maybe ready to sell, and then for whatever reason, just abandoned it entirely.
That first room, with teh table in the plastic wrap, the chair blocking off an area, makes me wonder if they had like a sale and people came through buying things so they could unload some of it and then deal with the rest.
Very cool home, love the secret room. As for the furniture and boxes of stuff I'm thinking someone is doing Ebay or selling stuff online? So many questions there.
Wow, a little iron in the water there? I lived in a place like that at one time. The well water was putrid and loaded with iron. It's nice to see one where the roof isn't leaking or the foundation isn't falling in, though
Someone should do something with it!before it gets to late,it looks like a pretty nice house for someone to live in, it’s very sad 😞 that people just let things go like that, when it could get some use of it 👍
Multi generation home. Everyone skeedadled when GMa died. The first floor was clearly arranged for a sale that appears to have been lightly attended and some time ago. Even the like- colored decor boxed with one another. Similar items grouped together. Y'all have obviously never been to an estate or tag sale. Great video. Thanks!
Wow. I would have never expected it to look as intact as it did on the inside after seeing the outside! It was obviously grandmother or great grandmother's place she passed away and whoever inherited it started using it as storage. And then they stopped coming for some reason. You know how people can be with storing things - they'll stash stuff somewhere and then completely forget about it. I started following you at some point... Are you an explorer? Or are you looking for property to purchase?
At 5:31.. you say, "It feels like somebody could walk in at any moment here"... look to the right of the screen. Something black is moving through the brush. 😲
I've been following your vid's from almost the beginning. You don't give yourself enough credit! Your natural ability and keen visuals doesn't escape the viewers. I haven't even mentioned your knowledge and narrative style. All these qualities and more, make you seem rare and far between others trying to accomplish the same, but can't. Pat yourself on back, and keep exploring!
Being from Park Rapids area, is this in the Wolf lake area or Menahga area? I am real curious about what is going on with this house and if the people want to sell it.
Our Farm Hunter loves to say the word "so" - so much that he mentioned it recently in one of his videos how many times he said it? It's what makes this gentleman unique! 🙂
This looks like the items were staged to be removed from the home. All the items are antique and vintage, worth money. Looks like someone who knows antiques was preparing to pack them up and sell them later.
Or... It could have been occupied by a family at one point, and then the stuff that's stored kind of looks like grandmother's stuff... So grandmother or great grandmother passed away and her stuff was stored in this old house that nobody needed or wanted for some reason, and nobody needed or wanted grandmother's items either... 🤔
There are two possiblities with second floor being colder than the rest of the house. One there isn't any insulation there. The other one could be a spirit in the second floor. Especially if you felt uncomfortable or felt like you were being watched.
Also, I wish you had of show the cd collection, I wonder what they listened to, also that giant old man poster, from sea to shining sea.....I fucking blatz'd
what’s up with the screen door in the living room? is that a minnesota thing? i know a little bit about minnesotaisms-my grandpop grew up in chisholm but his parents were immigrants and he left minnesota during the war and never moved back, so he wasn’t a super strong minnesotan. good video.
It almost looks like this house was being set up for an estate sale that never happened.
This is what I came here to say.
Some of the furniture and fixtures were really nice.

The teenagers bedroom and another bedroom were connected by the closet, then the 3rd bedroom or whatever room was behind the small door
I'm guessing the room with the hamburglar plate in it was a bedroom. 3 upstairs, one downstairs.
I wanna pretend they didn't actually use that rust covered shower like that 👀 .
Excellent find.
lots of iron in water there
That secret room was really cool. Loved all the pretty wood upstairs.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoy 😁
I'm sure there's plenty of cool old farmhouses in WI! Glad to be an inspiration ☺️
Do be careful! As much as I live urbex, I do worry about people's safety.
I am in Wisconsin as well and there are just literally 100s of abandoned farm houses, so you should have some good hunting. :-) Good luck.
@@FarmHunter definitely looking forward to it!

Sounds like a great place for a ..... dungeon
What a bizarre, but very cool home. I love the tiny door leading to the small room. The mystery is fascinating!

Very small house. In good condition, but needs vacuming. Basement reasonably clean and dry.

How about the three antique coffee grinders? Maybe an antiques dealer stored stuff?
Love your videos!!
Glad to hear that you enjoy!
Someone still has time to fix that one.
This house looks like it’s in pretty good shape to be a Bandan as long as it has.
That teenagers room was awesome the whole upstairs was awesome ...NOFX poster and a Darla new season poster
Do you ever come across some spirit activity in some of these abandoned homes?? Like hearing foot steps or doors closing???
I never have. I believe in that kind of thing but I've never experienced anything weird
Used for storage, preparing to sell? Very interesting for sure. I like this kinda house.
Didn't necessarily have to be a troubled teen living with grandma. My granny was 62 when my youngest aunt was 17.
Yea, sadly, i think this is another find where an elderly person died, the family came to box up the house, maybe ready to sell, and then for whatever reason, just abandoned it entirely.

The poster on the teenagers door was from 1998 and the bands she has up on the wall them CDs are from 1997
Very cool home, love the secret room. As for the furniture and boxes of stuff I'm thinking someone is doing Ebay or selling stuff online? So many questions there.
Very well could be. Carting it out by the truck load perhaps.
Wow, a little iron in the water there? I lived in a place like that at one time. The well water was putrid and loaded with iron. It's nice to see one where the roof isn't leaking or the foundation isn't falling in, though
That season of Daria was Feb 1999.
Very interesting. A hidden room, and quite the lock on the other one...

Explorer 😋

I appreciate that! Thank you!
Nice find love the place looks like they were moving then just never came back weird
I'm going with grammas house!
That whole upstairs could make a nice little office/library/bedroom combo...
Being from Park Rapids area, is this in the Wolf lake area or Menahga area? I am real curious about what is going on with this house and if the people want to sell it.
Send me an email: farmhuntermn@gmail.com
Thanks for another excellent video. Very intriguing!
You’re braver than I am! YIKES!
All the stuff looks like some who likes auction sales. Maybe this house was just storage for all of their finds.
How come you don't finish your thought after saying the word "so"?
Our Farm Hunter loves to say the word "so" - so much that he mentioned it recently in one of his videos how many times he said it? It's what makes this gentleman unique! 🙂
I have no explanation for why I do this hahaha
Ooooooo hidden roooooom!!!!!!! 😍😍😍
The top floor is keeping the bottom floor warm
This house is super cute! I'd love to know what happened!
Creepy vibes coming through in the video!! 😅

I haven't seen a kitchen yet
Bekfast

I agree looks like it was set up for an estate sale that never happened
That upstairs was creepy and being cold maybe its haunted
Was there no bedroom on the first floor?
The room where I showed the hamburglar would have been a bedroom. Atleast I think so anyway
@@FarmHunter oh right! Thanks! The hamburglar room slipped my mind.
I like this house
That is kinda weird to put a screen door going upstairs . always awesome content
Looks like a webb, salesmen. Sold these items on-line.
Texas chainsaw massacre house.🪓🪓🪓🪓🪓🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪😈😈😈😈
Man, I could feel the weird vibe through the video.
❤❤❤❤❤
You sound just like static spaces
Looks like somebody's flea market stash. With the trailer outside .
Yeah it coulda been....hasnt moved in quite a few years though...
