Crazy race bro GG. Smart decision to go with softs for the middle stint. I was on mediums and couldn't keep up with ya at the infield section, meaning I couldn't use you as a draft buddy like I was hoping I could 😂 Those annoying Ferraris destroyed my chances of getting any noteworthy result. They fought with me and slowed me down in the infield and pulled away on the oval leaving me out of the draft for 90% of the race even though I had 0 aero, lol. I should've just done what Curls did with the one stopper. I think that would've ultimately saved me way more time. Also, I need to learn how to take that Le Mans chicane properly. SIgh, still a great race though!
Ferrari this year got p1 and p3 in 24h Le Mans. Last year they also won the 100th edition. They’re that good in a speed track. Nice battles nice race consistent as ever.
Glad to see your race went better than mine, I got sucked into a big crash on t1 and sent to last place then ended up disconnecting with a few laps to go 😢. GGs though, don’t see many people use the GT here
@@LEGEND-xi1jr That's the same top speed the C7 has and that's with 0 aero on it. Combine that with reduced cornering capability and you're in for a bad time haha
Honestly I used the Ferrari because I never tried it at Daytona. It is OP and will probably not use it again. However Pointed, Legend, and I had a very close finish there. 3 wide at the finish line with .050 between the 3 of us.
Nothing wrong with using the right tool for the job. Don’t let someone else’s salt change what you want to run. Bringing a car that has more handling than top end to a track with huge was just a bad strat tbh.
The Porsche 935 long tail is just disgusting for this track/spec…. I have a tune up that runs 1:40.5, and does pretty decent with tires…. It’s unfair honestly….

I got a 1 second penalty on the end for overtaking pointed on the inside at the end lol stupid gamw
