Because people don’t understand why things happen as they happen, and that’s scary, so to feel more safe they create stories about gods who are almighty , and then they worship them, and feel safer because they thing God is on their side and will protect them. It’s understandable, people want some certainty to feel less vulnerable , but this is unfortunately completely uncertain, free, mercy-less energy . But you can always sugarcoat it, and call it unconditional love, perfect, whole and complete, etc. and feel better about it, like the people who have their god 🤷, Good luck 🍀
