X3 E83 it’s a special, complex needs car with loads of money you need to spend on it. Always something coming up I wish I didn’t sell my old A4 1,9 Quattro with 260k miles driven.
X3 it’s a neither daily car ( too heavy) nor off road. For long distance but road must be flat otherwise your suspension will injure your head by shaking.
Overall expensive rubbish
I've got my e83 3.0d about 10 years now and i couldnt disagree more with you. I had mostly just the normal wear and tear maintenence. Its been a reliable car. The ride is harsh but it corners better than most SAV's on the market now and especially at the time it got launched.
Mine is now at almost 400k miles, and still runs like a clock.
Oh sorry to hear that! I had the same problem on an offroad track. Just parked the car and after that i didn´t start again...
There's just no way you going to take a BMW SUV off-road you well broke a whole bunch of s***💩 you might as well drive straight to the BMW technician I know I've got one and I've never been off road the car is just for looks and you're paying for the name BMW. 🤔

@@basetpk I've got a X3 SUV all will wheel drive and it's in storage it had been like you know maybe a few months and I went to do some routine maintenance on it I started to let down the passenger side window and I hear this sound like a 2-year-old breaking a plastic toy and I am screwed I went online and looked it up about window issues with BMWs it has literally got a plastic part in the window a important plastic part I mean really who does that put plastic parts where there is a lot of wear and tear for a $50,000 plus dollar car that's ridiculous and it's going to cost $1,000 to be repaired this is the kind of thing that I am talking about BMW "SUCK"
@user-cr7eu2gf2m thats wild. ive had no issues on my 187k x3 2.5. the car comes with weak seals when put in the Texas heat. but other than that. ive had zero issues. I drive it a lot and go offroad every day when I get to the ranch because I have to get to a barn out in the middle of nowhere. I have heard these do not do well for city living. is yours a 3.0?
@@basetpk yes it is a 3.0 xDrive crazy it's got an electric ⚡ water pump which I had to replace I had to have the heat exchanger replace also it gets mold and then it rust out and starts to leak inside the car that was 3800 to replace it only has 74000 thousand miles on it another problem is you have to tear different things apart to get too what needs to be repair it is a gold mine for the BMW technician labor cost is outrageous. You're not really driving the car the only issues you will probably run into would be like your suspension because it has a height adjuster which goes to the bad of the rural roads and stuff but highway and City a totally different story. 😢
So far I haven't had any problems. I also have the 3.0D with just 145,000km on it now ;)
