here's one example at 0:31, the girls probably practiced this lift several times to get it done right and the camera man decided to do a side shot without showing Yoohyeon. Ugh.

I love how they replaced Sua'a usual high pitch with vibrato, it suits her better imo. I just fell for the vocals this time. This song is a slow burner.
JiU once compared the group to a set of stairs where every step forward is also a step up. As you said, every comeback shows improvement and they just keep getting better and better.

Dreamcatcher have small fan base in South Korea. They don't have large audience hence the sales and business is low over there. The music shows mostly considers domestic market to determine win.
There are few of groups with a win but doesn't have international fan base .

My dream is that one day, they grab a very much important award, somewhere else and throw them in their faces because they won't need to go through all the anxiety resulting of the shows and their sense of validation. I think that validation is illusory because winning that shows doesn't make idols better or worst artists, they only make them popular (in Korea) and being popular is something you can achieve with Marketing (and money). You can't achieve talent with Marketing. Many idols from big companies or small are extremely complete performers, but they are not amazing because the shows say it, they are just very talented and hard-working. I guess people should give it a chance and listen to groups from small companies cause there are true gems, and stop conforming only with the popular, just because they are popular. It's ok to listen popular groups, not saying that they are bad or something but I chose to stan talent, not popularity and I found true gems, starting with Deukae.

Dreamcatcher deserve to win, they have more vocal techniques than any girl groups out there, even groups from big companies, they have amazing song quality & performance... I hope more people know them, especially koreans themselves... Dreamcatcher need more recognition, the size of the company is not always a guarantee of the quality of their idol... look at Dreamcatcher, even though they're from a small company, they're amazing & the company is always support & do great job in their production...
I agree,when I search for them I expect 1 main vocal and 1 or 2 lead vocal,but I find 7 main vocal instead, they're so talented for me don't become isomnia,even if I said that I wasn't planning enter to other fandom,I didn't resist to these girls and the production quality in the songs, MV and choreo
There's no vocal hole in DC. Their main dancer and main rapper have amazing vocals and can even hit the highest notes among all of them. Yoohyeon can easily be a main vocalist if she was in any other girl group.

I hope I'm wrong but I'm not seeing their first win for this. If they do an MV for Whistle, I think that has a better chance. A win for that song will tell them, "The only way you win is if you conform.".
I love Whistle but it doesn't have the signature rock or metal element or dark themes of the majority of their songs. I would take that win but it would be bittersweet for me.
