How to Change The Water Panel On Your Aprilaire 600 Whole Home Humidifier

See step by step how to remove and change your Aprilaire #35 water panel out of your Aprilaire 600 whole home bypass humidifier.
To replace your humdifier filter (also known as a water panel) first remove the front panel off of the humidifier by pushing down on the tabs at the top and bottom of the humidifier. After you have removed this front cover, press in the tabs on the side of your water panel and pull it out of the humidifier.
Take the water distribution tray off of the top, and pull out the water panel. Replace with a new clean, Aprilaire 35 Water panel (Making sure that the colored lines are facing the top of the humidifier and then reassemble placing the water distribution tray back on top and then reinserting it back into the humidifier.
For best performance, it is advised that you change this water panel once every 6 months, or once every humidification season to keep your humidifier running in tip top shape.
Not changing your water panel will cause the effectiveness of your humidifier to drastically decrease.
