I loved the whole bridge battles.... I want them to keep the bridge how it is in old school Erangel. It created tons of epic battles. People can take ferry or other ways to get to blue... I wish they would leave the bridge how it is on old school.

the old PUBG and ERANGEL feels like home, i'm even thinking of going back to play. Erangel and MIRAMAR werw enough, PUBG didn't need all the other maps, just two quality maps like Erangel and Miramar.

I’m an original player who got bored of playing the Vietnamese themed map. I’ve checked every few years to see if there’s just an Erangal only mode so was ecstatic when I learnt about this. Shame it’s only two weeks
PUBG is the only thing I dearly miss after I switched to Linux. Wished they'd just tick the box so we could jump right in too.

You're not comparing pots and kettles though. The AVERAGE person is not making an income that supports themselves or their family with their screen time. This is his job. Those stats aren't factoring in people whose jobs require screen time.....they are leisure time stats.
I'd, at the very least, make a huge distinction between computer VS phone. Phone is so absolutely trash at anything meaningful that it can ONLY be used to fuel an addiction. Meanwhile, computers are multipurpose tools that you can practically live on.

PUBG it's fun to watch but it's a nightmare to play, i installed multiple times because of you, but after 3 games i uninstalled. I like much more Apex Legends, and at least i can run that game constantly with 60 fps.
*In PUBG no matter what i do in some spaces my fps drops below 50 even when i have 80 FPS, that game is not optimized.*
Apex Legends it's a very demanding game but it's much more stabile, if you play a little with the settings.

I'm honestly not a fan of this event. I've been playing since 2017, but just playing on this classic map has just been an unoptimized mess. And the recoil reduction is just another notch on the list of map inconsistencies that make it hard for new players to get into the game. I've just been counting down the days until they finally revert it back.

@wackyjacky101 Please make a video comparing which is better: a XX damaged level 3 gear or brand new level 2 gear. I've always wondered what's better of the two. Is a 45% Level 3 helmet better than a 100% level 2? Or when is a level 2 helmet better than a damaged level 3.
Level 3 helmets will keep you from getting killed/knocked via single headshot even at 1% strength unless opponent's weapon is an AWM or crossbow. So normally experienced players will take any type of damaged 3 helm over 100% level 2 helmet.
I can understand what Wacky is saying about creating a soft entry for returning players who have been away a long time. I have not played or kept up with World Of Tanks since I started playing PUBG (7 years now) and have no idea what I would be going into if I was to log back in today; especially being seven years out of practice against people who have only been honing their skills.

The low recoil on classic Erangel throws me off, I'm pulling down against recoil that's not there, I aim for heads and I'm hitting feet.

I'm not saying i loved everything about OG PUBG, But on the other hand things got changed to much in some aspects, from what made me fall in love with PUBG in the first place! i'm for easier/lower recoil & a PUBG without BOTS! Same with Fortnite i came back when they added in OG fortnite, gave the new season after that a chance, but ultimately left again, Fortnite for me has just gone to much away from what i loved about it!

Today I have 1011 hours. Coincidentally, that was the year my son was born. Now I'll just wait for 18 years untill he leaves home so I will have 1012 hours.
Old erangel is much better, higher chance of zone on the island, more bridge camp mayhem (without the lame side bridge walkways spoiling the conflict fun!).
Should they keep this recoil to ease new players into the game?

Sadly it's not about recoil or QoL, it's what happens to every game. The reason is simple: when new game comes out - people don't know how to play it, there's no meta, no sweet spots, your chances of running into tryhard are much much lower. So it's basically a time when game is "fun" to everyone. But as people learn and as people drop out - the game becomes harder and less fun. There's nothing you can do change that. It's a natural course. The only way to avoid this is to either reduce the "life expectancy" of the game by retiring it after a year or completely overhaul it every season or two. To keep people's interest and to prevent people from getting too accommodated to meta.
What about gaming? How many hours do you spend in that?

If Pubg TRUELY wanted to re-introduce old players with the old map/less recoil stuff, they totally missed the objective by not having blue chip towers (as bad a system as it is).
No one wants to watch their teammates play a whole match cuz they died early. Also no one wants to be short squad mates because the lack of a revive feature.

I use my phone to 1 thing watch or hear some music or phonecall when im out walking if home i Atm use it to see my countrys news and youtube followers content but im allways 50 50 i can hear a stream while i walk and notice the soroundings cars ppl nature etc😊

They fucked up big time....i was so hyped about this event and now i`m so disappointed. It was a brilliant idea, but horribly executed...We all love emergency pickups and new shit...but there was no room for them in this map...At least for 2 weeks, if u want to do something nice, do it all the way...No c4s....no spike traps, no emergency pickups, no bicycles...make it just like it was...old houses with no bars at windows and shit like that....This is basically the old map with all the actual settings minus blue chips...which sucks...you either remove all the new shit, or don`t remove anything at all...

No smartphone problems since 2016 when i stopped using social media except youtube and whatsapp if you can call those are that. Today my screentime was 5 minutes with 10 unlocks but some days at work i might get that 4 hours easily watching youtube or netflix if there's nothing to do at work.

(Btw working at McDonalds doesn't apply for either of those😅) The only true control we have over how we do things, is in our free time. Those two scenarios are very different.
