I just figured out what was bothering me about the 27+ size. It should be 26+! Originally the spiel was 27.5 is the "perfect" size to roll over objects more effectively than a 29er without the extra weight penalty. Ok, so a 27+ is effectively a 29er with MORE weight penalty! So it should be 26+ to approximate a 27.5. and keep the weight closer to a 29er. The industry market-hyped themselves right out of using a "26 inch" wheel though so they have to jam the narrative into a 27+ size and say well, the weight penalty isn't too much worse than a 29er, a direct violation of one of the ideals of the 27.5 size!!! It would also be easier to maintain a quicker geometry with shorter chainstays for more agile maneuvering.
There is nothing wrong with 26-inch wheels. These guys are always looking for new suckers. The whole bike industry is on its last legs. Nobody likes to be ripped off any more. Cheap and good quality bikes or get the fook out within reason, of course.
Bikeman i love your live shows, however the videos you've uploaded don't do interbike justice. Interbike is soooo much more than what you're showing which is pretty pathetic i must say.
