The govt of Kenya needs to gazette this place as A HISTORIC SITE.
Jalas, can you do something regarding this issue. The site can be improved aesthetically and to attract tourists, researchers, anthropologists, and all types of visitors.
A cafe or restaurant needs to be on site. the grounds should be improved with bright landscaping and the large odinga family should have their presence on site.
Acheni kulala this can be a MONEY MAKING ANCESTRAL HOME. hata imeshinda ya kina kenyatta.
rip legend, but please odinga family consider seeking a true man of God to break the curse on the family.

This is the kind of content that brings unity among Kenyans. You may feel a particular way about Raila but you cannot deny the great contribution and sacrifices he and the Odinga family have made for our country Kenya. Jalang'o may not realize this, but this single video has done so much for Raila's 2022 campaign. It is only right that Raila becomes the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya.

Who is Raila's competition? What has been their contribution to our country? And what sacrifices have they made for Kenya? If you still don't think Raila is the most deserving of the presidency then you deserve to have your land grabbed and a big hotel built on it with money stolen from your taxes and in return you be compensated with a wheelbarrow with the word 'hustler' written on it !

From the pictures shown the Jaramogi's family seems to have much respect for leaders from other communities especially Jomo Kenyatta. Unlike what we have always been told, Baba seems not to have any grudge or resentment against the Kikuyu community. Baba deserves to be the 5th President of our Republic. I'm a Kikuyu and I will vote for Baba.

As we head to elections, pass the message of peace to our own people, Kenya will be there after election, we need each other after voting to live in peace, harmony and co-existance! There's nothing like love for one another and from the the video of Odinga, it shows that whatever we do, one day, we'll leave and everything will be nothing but history. Tupendaneni!

I remember as little kid the late was so loving with me despite him having grandkids of his own at the time. He passed when was around 9 and I remember my grand crapping all of us in 504 to go the funeral. That was the second last time I was there I returned to that place around 5yrs ago when I was grown. I walked through that gate way back in 1981 during the 1st weekend outing when I was a form five student at Maranda High School.
I came all the way from Thomeandu Boys' Secondary School, Machakos District of the then Eastern Province, Kenya.
This was when education was serving the purpose of enhancing national unity.
From Maranda I got my dholuo name 'Ochuodho' which means mud in my mother tongue, Kikamba and true to it I'm named after mud in my dialect.
I've been here several other times since then.
"We talk we miss" this bit of history is a critical ingredient for our future national cake.

The enemies of unity, multi enthnic co-existence who are tribal chauvenists have tried every trick in the book (so very hard) to dehumanise the Jaramogi family wrongly and falsily portraying them as "selfish", "tribal" and "bad".
The truth is out there. The Odingas are non of the above, the hard fact is that: the Jaramogi family have done so much for Kenya especially in fighting for African and Kenyan freedom, for the release if Jomo Kenyatta, for Kenya's independence., for democraratic space, human right, devolution, peace and national coexistence.
