🤧😥🤧Astros girl here. He also lives in my neighborhood. I got his autograph one time and he was the most down to earth guy ever! He always gave his best to Houston and I'll always appreciate him! 😥🤧😔💔😫😭 I wish him the best! Jays fans are going to realize what an amazing baseball player he is!
    In 2017 he hit .283 , 34 HRs, 85 RBIs.
    In 2018 .265, 22 HRs, 71 RBIs.
In 2019 he hit .292, 39 HRs, 96 RBIs. Keep in mind that Springer hit lead off with Houston, so he didn't get as many RBI opportunities as someone who hits in the middle of the order. Springer was actually one of the few players who had a solid 2020 season. Always has amazing postseason stats!
    POSTSEASON 2017 for Springer:
Home .200 BA; Road .378 BA
In 2017, he hit a HR in LA, game 2 WS, which put the game away ON THE ROAD. And he hit a HR to give the Astros a lead in game 7 IN LA, 2017 WS. Time and time again, he will get you the biggest hits in the most critical times of games, regular and postseason games. I call him, Mr. October 😭😫🤧😥💔

HYPOCRITE. You quickly forgot that you called him a cheater, right? Springer was Houston home-grown. He will always be a part of Houston.

    • @blink182lives100

@@worldtraveler721 ok then. He will always be apart of Houston and will always be remembered as a cheater then. Springer was one of the few if not the only Astro to give a sincere apology, admit that they were wrong and kept his mouth shut unlike Altuve saying "End of the year everything will be fine we are going to be in the WS again" while looking scared shitless. Correa running his mouth like he always does saying that the cheating didnt make the difference in them winning the WS. Correa is the worst out of all them. Springer will always be known as a cheater but at least he owned up to it like a man

@@blink182lives100 What you don't realize is that there were other baseball clubs cheating with TECHNOLOGY as well. It's well documented and you're totally clueless about what was happening ACROSS the league, moreso with CONTENDING teams.
Per the Athletic: "The accounts about the Red Sox activity were given to The Athletic on the condition of anonymity. The sources said they are bothered by a SUBCULTURE of in-game ELECTRONIC sign stealing that grew in RECENT years among CONTENDING teams, and more WIDELY across the sport, and who say they want MLB to act in a broad way."
"In recent postseasons, the paranoia was particularly acute." “You got a bunch of people who are really good at cheating and EVERYBODY knows that EACH other’s doing it,” said one person with the 2018 Red Sox. “It’s really hard for anybody to get away with it at that point. … If you get a lion and a deer, then the lion can really take advantage of the deer. So there’s a lot of deer out there that weren’t always paying attention throughout the season (regular season). In the playoffs, now you’re going against a lion.”
("MLB's Sign Stealing Controversy Broadens: Sources Say the Red Sox Used Video Replay Room Illegally in 2018"/Ken Rosenthal and Evan Drellich/Jan 7, 2020/The Athletic).
"Two sources FAMILIAR with the investigation...said various Astros' personnel told MLB investigators about eight other teams who used TECHNOLOGY to steal signs in 2017 AND 2018-such was the CULTURE of the time." ("Why MLB Issued Historic Punishment to Astros For Sign-stealing"/Tom Verducci/Jan 2020/Sports Illustrated).

@@blink182lives100 So when you talk about apologies, as a young lady, I think that the rest of the baseball players on other teams who cheated too, but aren't admitting it, are the worst HYPOCRITES! And they are GROWN men being the BIGGEST CRY BABIES! They're not crying because the Astros cheated. They cheated themselves too. They're crying because they cheated and STILL LOST! You do realize that Fiers never accused the Astros of cheating with TECHNOLOGY in the postseason, right?
This is what Fiers told The Athletic:
According to the Athletic: "Four people who were with the Astros, including Fiers, said that DURING THE SEASON (regular season), the Astros stole signs during HOME games in real time with the aid of a camera positioned in the outfield."
("The Astros Stole Signs Electronically in 2017--Part of a Much Broader Issue for MLB"/Ken Rosenthal and Evan Drellich/Nov 2019/The Athletic).
Mike Fiers never said anything about the postseason.
One of the sources said: "There is no evidence that the trash can system was used in the postseason or in 2018." According to two more sources familiar with the investigation: "Houston did not use the trash can system in the 2017 postseason. Banging on trash cans would be too obvious in the heightened scrutiny of the postseason environment." According to one baseball source: "MLB “spent the entire ’17 postseason running back and forth chasing down allegations about who was stealing signs. EVERYBODY was charging EVERYBODY with doing it.”
("Why MLB Issued Historic Punishment to Astros For Sign-stealing"/Tom Verducci/Jan 2020/Sports Illustrated).
If the Astros cheated in the postseason, they weren't doing anything different than what other teams were doing.

true, he's basically the only position player that was still good even after they weren't cheating anymore, correa and altuve didn't have good years I don' think, but he still continued to have a great year
