Can't be salty if you're just bad. Reynor has nobody to blame but himself, he absolutely should have won game 3, and his salt at the end just proves to spirit how tilted he gets against turtle strats, and encourages spirit to keep playing that way.

In the latest video of reynor, he said that spirit is the best terran player in europe when it comes to end game. Yes. Better than clem.
Not that shocking to be honest, because Spirit does not have the same mechanical skill as Clem, or even Heromarine, so he has to play a more careful, defensive style that lead into lategame most of the time. That has allowed him to have lots and lots of practice and gain more experience in that. Clem relies more on his microability and multitasking skill and doesnt have the same discipline or positioning in a late/end game situation. I remember seeing Clem vs Reynor in a lategame and it was an eyesore from BOTH of them.

Reynor is so hilariously incompetent at late game omg. In game 3, he just does not mine his forward bases at all (mines out his safe bases before touching the outer ones), doesn't know how to use brood lord infestor properly (no neural parasite???), and when he takes an amazing fight at the 39 minute mark he just has no idea how to capitalize on it, and then at the end he just gets picked apart by far superior army control. Spirit repeatedly poking his vikings forward is super reckless cause it gets hard punished by fungal and parasitic bomb (remember, he has no money to repair, so all damage is permanent), but Reynor proves he is incapable of pulling off the punish, so Spirit just gets away with it. Pretty embarrassing play from a player who made world championship finals 3 years in a row.

@@laureloneiros1500 I'm a Zerg player, and I'm just pointing out Reynor's late game is way worse than other top zergs like Dark and Serral (and Rogue before he went to military). You can tell Reynor really doesn't want to play broodlord infestor, and his lack of practice shows. If you want to be best of the best, you have to embrace broodlord infestor, and practice the shit out of it so you feel confident to move to that stage of the game. Reynor desperately tries to end the game before that, and it causes him to throw a lot of leads. Also, Terrans like Spirit KNOW Reynor isn't good in late game, and they exploit it by turtling. Other top Zergs would be like "Ok, you're turtling, I guess I'll take the whole map and crush you with expertly manoeuvred Brood Lord Infestor".
The stats prove my point. According to Reynor, Spirit is the best European late game turtle terran, and Serral has a career map score of 47-5 over Spirit, and Dark is 8-1 (compared to 101-63 for Reynor). Turtling does not work against them, so if you want to learn how to beat it, go watch their games.

@@space_orphan Yeah, I mean other than Maru Terran lategame which is at another level, top Zerg players should try to play better lategame in TvZ. In this particular game, at 40 minutes mark, Spirit army wasnt the perfect composition against lategame Zerg army. Only 5 Thors, 4 Hellbats with lots of Vikings and Ghost. You only need to swap 92 lings for 10 Queen for Transfuse and use the BLord to engage while dropping in Infestor / Viper spell. I feel like Reynor saw 20 Ghost and he just has PTSD and never wanted to engage.
@@tigera6 Exactly. Mass ghost is actually bad vs brood lords. Broodlings interrupt snipe really well as long as you have good detection coverage, and have good vision around the flanks. Good infestor usage makes the battle even more impossible for terran, keep the infestors held back so they can't all get hit by EMP, and bring one forward at a time to try to fungal the ghost ball. The terran has to keep hitting one infestor at a time with EMP to stop fungal (have to double EMP if they have 150+ energy), and if they miss a single time then all the ghosts die. I think 10 queens might be a little overkill, but the 92 lings are pretty useless. Maybe like 30 to stop drops / harass, but 92 is way more than you need.

turtling game are always initiated by terrans but it's zerg and protoss that gets nerfed.
That's because Turtling isn't actually a very good strategy at the highest level. Doesn't work against the best lategame players (Serral and Dark), it just looks really good against someone who doesn't know how to play broodlord infestor well (Reynor)
So tell me how did Zerg win all those titles 2-3 years before this? I am pretty sure turtling Terran has been around since the LoTV begin.
Zerg won more prime tounaments than protoss and terran combined from 2019 to 2022. Lol. You crying about Terran and Protoss balance when watching highest level games where zerg completely shitting on the other two races for the last 4 years.

Reynor's end game is notably weaker than his mid game. You shouldn't be making balance inferences based on a player's weaker game. Late game infestor/brood lord/viper with queens for healing is very difficult to beat in the hands of the best players.
