The best shows are the ones where someone has to bring in a defibrillator.
Who directed this video, Sam peckinpah?
I bring mine to every show????
I was actually at a show and during BMTH set some kid got hit and dropped. Spread eagle on the floor. Show stopped and everything. They got a defib out and used it on him middle of the floor. Oli Sykes just told jokes while we waited for the show to resume.
damn wish travis scott read this comment before astro world
God, a string snapping and slicing my face open is a constant fear when tuning, I never don't think about it happening to me.
Same brother, I once had a broken string wrap my arm. That's some painful shit right there.
Only 12 people have died this way since 2011. FYI
teresa tall ONLY! That’s 12 more than I’m comfortable with, FUCK!!!
@@FaithlessLooter Statistically we're more likely to be murdered or assaulted by musical instruments than have a minor car accident. It's in the Geneva Convention.
I had a bass string pop on my cheek once. Not fun
This band is so ridiculously good. This record is perfect.
I discovered this record last month and it's unreal
i dont think whoever came up with the phrase "the show must go on" had this in mind...
Nah this is it. if your a dancer in a theatre and you break your leg you are expected to continue the show. shits metal
I heard this song on the radio last night and was shocked at how good it was. Then I got sad because of all the good music out there that I have yet to hear...
+Jeanette Lopez It should make you happy there is so much good music to discover! Listen to the Flatliners if you haven't already. My favorite song from them is Run Like Hell.
+TartTooth It's a little of both I guess. :) I've listened to Flatliners a little. I really loved the song This Respirator!
Jeanette Lopez now I'm sad
THEY GOT ON THE RADIO???
Am I the only one who thought of Patrick telling Squidward "Firmly grasp it" when he grabbed the drumstick with his wrapped hand?
Isaac Arambul XD
Nope
firmly grasped
Isaac Arambul I SAID FIRMLY GRASP IT
TWO PEOPLE DIDN'T WANT TO MEET US AT THE RESTAURANT.
puptheband i will NYE philly. Lezz go!
open24hours, 4 years too late.
I'm pissed I just found this band. Fucking amazing.
You'd think being on the watch dogs 2 rock station would bring attention.
puptheband go to Boston please
Singer: *fucking dies*
Everyone else: *furious playing*
just saw these guys today. if you think the pics and videos make the shows look crazy it is 100× anythin you could ever imagine. incredible live, incredible crowd, incredible songs, incredible writing, i just live everything about this band and the concert jyst made everything i loved about them amplified to an unpredictable level
River Koritko did you see them at the Danforth? I just went to their show yesterday on the 16th. best concert I've ever been to
Andrea Buch it was indeed
Tyler Gill i went to the 14th i was near the front and the 16th i was at barracade. it was fucking crazy
River Koritko I only went 16. I spent most of the time moshing so I ended up everywhere. it was probably the most energetic concert I have been to.
Saw them last month and it was easily the best show I’ve seen hands down, and the crowd was just as killer!
This music video encapsulates the band so well its insane, immediately from the start shit starts to hit the fan, and it just gets more and more chaotic and loud, and they still keep on going, even while everything is breaking down.
This will forever be one of my favorite music videos.
liking only bc you chose Chicago for your SN
Listen to this after a few drinks and the furniture is in peril.
Yu
Most brilliant thing I've seen all year.
this is one of the funniest music videos ive ever seen, but at the same time i can sense a certain amount of depth within it
not like a giant underlying message, but to me it shows how much pup appreciates its fans and audience. we dont actually show up with extra equipment and medical devices and a (lmao) defib, but pup knows that we would!
Easily my favorite music video. These guys are incredible.
dying for their music and their fans bringing them back to life haha love the metaphor
Saw these guys live last night at AFI in Toronto. They were great!
This is the pinnacle punk rock music video
Agreed
change the settings to watch it at 1.5x speed. captivating
"chipmunk speed"
puptheband actually, youtube adjusts the pitch so you don't sound like chipmunks. It's pretty awesome really.
Allan Holder This sounds exactly like 2005 era Flatliners at that speed!
+Allan Holder Wow that is pretty awesome. I'm shocked youtube adjusts the pitch, badass.
Damn buddy, I'M SPILLING MY GUTS ATM haha, flats were amazing in 2005 for their age back then
so annoyed that i saw this band live before i actually listened to them
best way to discover a band ...
Hattipillar I only knew this track when I saw them, and it was still rad
badaboum223 No.
Someone here get pissed off, huhu
RelaxingFeelings yes i just punched a hole through my wall god darn it !
something about the scene where steve falls into the drum set is so....weirdly badass. the way it fits with the music so well.
damn head banging, high, and this song are the perfect combo
I now think of this song whenever I hear Reservoir.
Seen these last night with Pure Love !
There are more than 5 people in this video that look like Zack. I can't say that enough. Everyone is Zack.
wait, everyone is zack?
always has been
@@holiwren DAMMIT I WAS JUST ABOUT TO SAY THAT
Dude back when I played in a punk band I knocked my tooth out the same way with the microphone. Everything about this band is great! Glad I found u guys after all this time
Thanks to Watch Dogs 2 I know what it means to meet you at the Reservoir.
I found this song because of WD2😂
i would sell my organs my life to this band fuck me crazy this is nuts each and every song is fucking mind blowing . you guys are gold . punk is alive only because of bands like you . you guys are the most inspirational shit i have seen after nirvana
I love this band so much, i think this and dvp are my favorite songs
this song specifically is the best live performance i've ever seen to this day
LITERALLY everything PUP does is fucking sick, every single song, every single video, EVERYTHING. They are the only band like this for me.
The best new band, seeing them at Reading in the summer! Rad
Riders republic introduced me to this masterpiece😎 been listening to it for an hour🤣
Heard this In the Watch Dogs 2 promo.. FINALLY found it after 2 years XD
I was listening to music while shaving then this came on and I thought the opening guitar rift was my razor bugging out.
3:10 I didn't know Stefan could freaking fly, holy crap.
you must be new to this xD jk jk
Isn't anyone gonna talk about the awesome meaning behind the music video? Yes, it's cliché for a band but the way it's portrayed is still AWESOME!!
its rather on the nose lol but really well done
You gotta love the guy in the crowd with extra sticks, like bro dont miss a beat I gotchya...
"meet me at the lake" - tyler the creator
"meet me at the resevoir" - PUP
Man... The show really must go on!! I knew these guys were awesome back when I saw them open up for Hollerado at Ritual in 2011
Now I gotta go google how to survive a PUP mosh pit...
Back here because I listened to PUP all the time back in the day. Just got the videogame Watchdogs 2 for free, and while fleeing the police I turned the radio on... AND TO MY SURPRISE THIS SONG WAS PLAYING!!!!
One of my favorite videos ever
Pup have the fucking best videos
Its a damn cool concept. Still think DVP wins tho.
this is called punk rock!!!
nikhil sapate no it’s not
@@Stephen_xvii it is
Its rock
Dude as an old school punk about to turn 40 these dudes are indeed punk. 4 kids making music in spite if they have the talent or equipment is about as punk as you can get. Punk rock had no real sound its rock stripped down to its core. Punk had many sounds and influences. The Clash did not sound anything like the Ramones or the sex pistols. The Decendents sound nothing like Agent Orange. Stop being an elitest it's the most un punk thing you can do OI OI Oi motherfuckers
@@Firetailisafk this is called surf punk, garage punk etc.
taking "the show must go on" to a whole notha level
They were in Wiesbaden with Frank Turner!
I am so mad that I never got to hear from them before I met them and their music at the concert.
This was totally worth it and I'm totally hooked on their music.
Listened to this on Q...brilliant...reminds me of energy i loved in my fav earlier band Husker Du
PUP, Brazil love you guys!
I love the whole spirit of this music video
Yes!
I thank Watch Dogs 2 for introducing me to this track. Everyday it comes on, my whole body reacts like this video feels
Reminds me of a cross between Against Me! and The Bronx. Loving it.
Heh yeah, me and my friends were just saying it sounds like someone crashed the Menzingers into The Bronx.
Now this is the song I was looking for from Watch Dogs 2
I love everything about this video. Great job, boys.
Best pup song in history to this day
So awesome because it captures what happens every PUP show.
My favorite music video as of late! Can't stop watching this.
I went to the reservoir but they weren’t there. I should’ve checked the quarry because of the cool hard rock.
YOUR DRUMMER IS FU*KIN' AWESOME!
I like u guys!
did anyone else notice that his mic fell own during 0:43, and he had to bend down a little to reach it?xD
I think it was a foreshadowing of what was coming to them.
XD
Yeah that was supposed to happen since all their equipment was breaking
Stefan almost died cause they broke a part of the drums lol
thats not an irregular thing to happen at punk shows. im sure it was done purposely to further the punk-essence that is seen in the music video. it gets a lot worst than that at shows loll
It had been a long time since music made me feel something. thanks PUP.
"oh fuck" haha, I love this band.
Mute Machine I like fuck
You guys are quickly becoming a new favorite of mine. I look forward to hearing more. (your videos, are sick, btw)
these videos are beatuiful and the music i can only pray for the best guys i hope you guys find greater and greater success .
INSANE GIG in Lincoln the other night with Pure Love, you guys nailed it awesomely!
0:28 "are u guys done Dickin around!?" Ahaha
I recently discovered these guys & they're amazing! Couldn't have made this video any better honestly...
i know being in a band is stressful and hard to maintain, buts thats no need to "fall apart."
*BA-DUM TSH!*
*crickets*
Absolutely, completely nuts. Love it.
My friend showed me these guys, and they're also in the game Riders Republic. It made my day
how to find this artist in this game?
You go through each radio station
some friends and I saw you in Brixton Academy and you definitely rock. you guys are awesome!
Listening to these bad Bois while playing Mario kart with my bro in my parents garage is honestly the best thing ever
Stoked for the show tonight at Sugar!
They made it through one show, only 25 more to go from the tour!
Heard this on BBC Radio 1 Rock Show about 20 minutes ago... Fuck me, this is pure rocking. Amazing.
Gonna see these guys this tour.
This is still the best song *AND* video of the decade so far.
I was feeling desperate about todays music looking for some cool new rock and roll bands that would bring me faith back,.. finally found some!
Worked with them last week and this is accurate.
I'm Drunk but this band is actually the best thing since cures for STDs im not even joking this band makes me not hate being alive
Remnants of The Subways from back when they were still good. Maybe a dah of Death From Above 1979 and Pulled Apart By Horses in the riffage and the middle 8.
Good work.
Such an amazing video, so basically the usual for this band.
I'm going to see these guys live in 7 days and I'm pumped af
God I used to love this song it never gets old❤️
Looking forward to seeing you guys on Groezrock!!!
pup is an amazing band and i would love it if you guys would make a tutorial for this song
I can't wait until covid is over and I have some money for a vacation to San Francisco. Gonna be Jamming out to this and the rest of the songs from wd2.
This music video is actually so original! I've been a fan of his song and band for awhile now! Awesome video!
Definatly favorite one by PUP, Rock Fest Montobello crowd surfing to this made my life! I love you guys PUP
The Topanga shirt in the line to get in 👌
Honestly if you’re not this thrashed after a concert was it even really a concert
This song is violent and I was playing Watch Dogs 2 from The PS4 and Now They are crashing the damn party!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🔥🤟🏾😛🤟🏾🔥
I don't know why it's taken me this long to watch the video for this song but I love this video so much.
Does the riff to this song remind anyone else of Remedy by Hot Water Music? Both songs are killer. File under: songs to destroy the room around you to.
I suppose it was hella fun to record this clip
Looking forward to your German shows this spring!
Dang, I didn't expect the amount of blood and injuries shown in this video. It match the furiosity of the song.
I'm also shocked how cool this track is, why it didn't gain its popularity
Seems like they had a good time filming this
the way the drummer caught the drum stick..just perfect
This belongs on the new Tony Hawk Pro Skater game.
+josh perez Too bad that game is gonna suck. The old ones were great, but from everything I've seen it looks pretty bad this time.
+Infected Nipple. Yeah I've seen some things saying it sucks which is a damn shame. Skate, imo, sucked, and thought his might be its redemption.
what a strange comment lol
This does sound like something from a Tony Hawk game. They always have the best soundtrack.
Welp, it was in Watch_Dogs 2 at least.
this is sick, so catchy
