    In this video I share with you a super stealthy facial signs from coach to catcher. These signs are very easy to see and very deceptive. You will probably never get your signs picked using this method. It was my favorite way I've ever seen signs given to the catcher. I also show you some Game Signs which are fingertip stickers for catchers that are very bright and make it easy for pitchers to see the signs from the catcher.
    What type of signs do you use?

    John.. thanks for the video! You just gave me some sick ideas! Right now, to keep it simple, First facial touch is the pitch, last facial touch is location. Ex.. Nose is Fastball. Touch nose first, then a bunch of other stuff, then left ear. Fastball inside on a righty. But dude.. I'm about to crush it. I coach 10's, 11's, 13's and 14's. Keep em coming Big 🐕!

    That was a lot easier to understand. Most of the signs are fake!!! Wow! That really helps alot!!!

    Brilliant, i just used flash 1st sign fake, 2nd sign actual pitch, 3rd sign if flashed pick off move, i think i can do this by just looking at my pitcher, that's a sign, looking at my catcher then looking away, that's a sign, looking down and not looking at either of them, that's a sign, double clap, that's a sign

    What's your view on weighted baseballs? Have you trained with them or did you have any teammates who used them and if so did they help?

      +ALWAYSF1RST1 I've had a few guys get on the stevie delabar program (who was my roommate in pro ball to answer your other question). Some liked it, some didn't. I also own driveline program but have yet to get deep into it. But it's all very similar.

    I'm gonna steal this one.... haha.
    At what age or when should a catcher start calling his own pitches?

    • @YouGoPro
      @YouGoPro  Před 8 lety +1

      +Paul Sambrano Take it! It's yours! I'd let a catcher start calling his own pitches whenever he understands the philosophy. I've had some 13 year olds who understand and can do it, while I've seen some college kids who shouldn't be calling their own game. So it really depends on the catcher.

    I am a 15 year old pitcher ( almost 16 ) and I can throw a pretty good curveball. but it's a big slow hook and sometimes it can get hit a long way. I'd like to know how to throw a curveball that is a little faster and breaks later. can you help me? Please.

    "Head coach?" Do you mean manager?

  • @darrenhopper5343
    @darrenhopper5343 Před 3 lety

    Just be creative, stealing signs is part of the game. If you don't spend enough time to teach signs, your not a real coach, your one of the simple minded coaches that thinks stealing signs should be illegal! That's part of the game. Do your job!!! Once we won a game with me intentionally giving signs the other team could see. I knew they had stole my signs, so I announced (verbally) from the dugout what the next pitch would be, fast ball outside corner, change-up in the dirt... and we still won. Quit complaining about opposing teams stealing signs.... and play ball!

    Should be talking to your catcher and ask why a pitch was called and suggest strategies for different batters and pitchers. Stop calling pitches for a game that is supposed to be fun and a learning experience. Let them figure it out on their own and they'll be twice the catcher you ever were.

      +YouGoPro ok by the way I was wondering if you had any tips for beginners on fielding. I do know that you were a pitcher though so don't worry if you don't have any.
