This was my first tier X tank many years ago, in 2014. It was a pain to grind the T28 but the T95 was funny. The T25-AT is INCREDIBLE too. This tank has easily the best front armor in the game. Only around the gun (the mantlet) is 31-5-320 but the rest of the front is like 350-370 and that's in flat ground, a little bit of hulldown and this monster gets easily 400+ armor. The lower plate is basically a huge weak spot, right side is the engine and in the left the ammo rack, so make sure to hide it!

The E3's gun is not the most accurate among TD's but since it's a brawling tank the high penetration, alpha damage and dpm balances the things out. It's a very good tank except for speed.
it can be made accurate using bounty gun aiming, field mods, food, bia and vents
then the gun is accurate, even before the field mods and equipment 2.0 it was a reliable gun.
It would be really nice if you would do a missiom guide for the personal missions!

For those that struggle against hulldown E3s. it is possible to pen it frontally if you know about a hardly exploited weakness in the armor. If you aim for the black headlights on the front plate, they are directly in front of a sliver of armor that is 170mm thick. its a small target, but exploitable in the right situation. I have made a few E3 drivers very confused doing this, the after battle messages were hilarious.
those are tiny as hell, a good e3 will keep moving and whiggling. also they are impossible to pen if e3 is slightly above or hull down. lol you might as well talk about chieftain cupola as a weakspot....
I know this is an old video but I haven’t had good luck with the obj 268 Td but he E3 is so much fun and makes me feel really strong when I don’t have to worry about people behind me
The 268 is listed as "versatile", so it's telling you to use it as a sniper. I bought it too and sold it after a bit. Too much pain for no armor when I had already experienced the 704, which is superior imho

Do you know why my retical is dancing and jumping if i aim to sniper schnitzel position on prokhorovka from 3rd person perspective. Also near ridge lines. Can I turn it off somehow?
Your reticle is jumping because it is detecting objects in hills in the way.

Meanwhile, my E3 gets HESH penetration from the FV4005 because I turned the hull one degree sideways 😃

I really hate having E3 as my enemy. It's not that I'm bad at confronting it, but it's that I always get multiple trash allies who don't know how to. It's like fate or something.

You need to highlight the gold pen more, 375 If I am not mistaking. Thats the main reason I like this tank. Jgpz has good pen too, but bad armor unlike this tank.
@James Wheeler Not really, heat doesn't lose pen over distance and is generally better to pen heavy non-spaced armor, but yeah apcr has it's advantages too, like more shell velocity and better against spaced armor and tracks. Not like one is flatout worse.

Unlikely, as HEAT rounds have a ricochet angle of 85 degrees, so unless the armor is substantial (or you have poor HEAT pen--very rare), you won't be failing to pen, and if you do, AP and APCR are not getting through either because the armor value at which HEAT will fail to pen is going to be so significant (for the tier) that the overmatch normalization calculus (almost always) won't save you, unless we're talking massive amounts of spaced armor and subsequent travel distance to the thin plate.

Unless you're in the GSOR TD, a tier 10 light, or a German w/ a 12,8.

Not true, if the 150mm shell still doesn't have enough penetration after the calculation, you won't "ricochet" but you WILL fail to pen. Moreover, you have only 5 degrees of angling at which HEAT will auto-ricochet, there are VERY few situations in which this will happen, which is why CEAT is generally better for penning heavy armor (unless you're slinging APCR from a select few high-tier TD guns).
@James Wheeler It's better for anything with even a hint of armor, including side turrets. The only time it's worse is leading at ~300+ m, tanks with good side armor + tracks @ mid-ranges and beyond (closer for inaccurate guns), and tracking + damaging shots, though not as bad as many would believe (unless, again trying to do so to tanks with large armor values).
@@Ol_White_Fatalis td apcr rounds have the lowest pen drop off at distance..... you lose a mind whooping 10mm at 500m... thats fk nothing at all.

@@weaponizertank6245 Well, the armor isn't reliable at all and the gun mantlet is butter, basically because the gun mantlet is flat 200-210 mm while E3's gun mantlet is literaly 320-325mm. E3 is meta nowadays because it has decent armor able to withstand HEAT rounds, something E4 can't even dream of. True the mobility is there but the lack of fully rotatable turret like the T30 is a real pain in the butt. The old T30 was miles better than the current E4.

@@juanjodpr I agree. I have E4 myself - Nothing of it is reliable , i'm quite disapointed with it. I got it to try to complete the US chimera mission 15. So far, the mission is not fully completed. Actually my T95 did it 7800 dmg 8 kill, BUT that mission ended draw as its the order I really need to progress to next personal missions.
As for WG - Pls make that mission easier to complete!!! - 6500 dmg and 5 kills is too hard. U do either on of it with these turbogames today.

Play at tier II-Tier V until you understand the game, then buy a premium tank. Most techtree tanks are useless.
Tier X for me are nice to have (I still have a dozen or so but I rarely play them), but unlike MMORPG (where the point of the game is to grind to max level) in WoT mid tier (5-8) is where the fun actually are.
Playing with IS-7 line is rarely a wrong decision, but I would suggest getting at least one line each (HT, MT, TD... Add LT once you are confident with your knowledge of vision mechanics) and then see what playstyle suits you the most.
For example, I started with mostly HT and TD. 9 years later I play mostly LT and MT.

Ever sense I got the E3 it has been my favorite tier 10 tank so far. There is something very satisfying about showing all those OP heavy tanks how much their armor is worth just by pressing the 2 key and they cant do the same.

I had a funny moment yesterday.
I tried to bounce a shot from 907 ,he shot heat and I got hit.I gave up.
Behind me was a 2 E3 I let them in.
The 907 was f up after that.
He thought, He could hit me again .

Believe me. Try it with bond turbo. It is amazing. PLUS this tank has highest pen with apcr in the game. You can pen Kranvagen turret no problem

Welp, just like every tank line I grind to I end up being just another farm product to keep the player base fed. 3.5 years and I'm worse now in the game than two-years ago. So, I guess the question is - What's the point?
You just need to be patient, play the same tank over and over and over again till you figure it out, every tank is different, positioning/role/ you name it! If you bounce around always to all your tanks, you never learn how to play one well. Pick a Tank you think you like and spend day after day playing that tank till you figure it out. GL!

honetsly I hate this TD but I got my damage record in it 12k still lost :(. For me te E3 is just to slow.
With bounty or bond turbo you can push it up to 30km/h, not so bad for such monstruous tank.

Until Italy TD Minotaur enters the game ;)))))) Also this tank have weakspot and its huge - its a freakin TUMA on top, its CUPOLA. Everyone will target its cupola all the time. I think its time to wait for oficial 1.18 path and then recreate all tanks how are they in todays meta.
E3 s Cipolla is not a weak spot like in e4. Check out tanks GG mate.

WOT balance, none. WOT random, none. WOT matchmaker, none.
Idk why but for me this tnak somehow didn't work; i love t95 with all my heart, i'm seeing it like better tank ovr than E3;
The armor of E3 is somehow weaker, cause is taller, the lowr plate is way easy to hit, and some tanks with AP's can pen it (obj 268, strv, jge100); and to me players i fought were knowledged about weaks of this tank, so they just tap 2 key and every time I was done before start.
While with t95 (2 marks at 89%) lower plate is soooo small it's a pain to try to hit it, only cupolas are a little down, but hey, no tank is perfect (except for obj 279 and chieftain :) ), t95 is better in my opinion than E3.
Plus the gun heandling seems more "durpy" for E3, than t95, maybe is just me...
A few days ago I destroyed a T110E3 by shooting the lower plate with my AMX 50 120 with the medium gun and AP. I was quite surprised as it doesn't have that much pen

I have near 8k WTR (after 11k battles), 52,8 WR but for me this tank is a fking blackship. I get always underpowered or overpowered teams with rapid battles, 15:1 or 1:15 where u must run after dmg or u dont have time to do dmg becouse teammates cant stay alive for 2 mins. So i know, 10 battles is nothing but i have only 20% WR with the E3 and no more pleasure to play with it. Its a bad joke.
263 about 55% WR on the way to 3rd GM, no problems. I dont understand this game sometimes...
