Those shirts cut out in the back could have been for someone who is disabled and has a hard time putting shirts on over their head in bed. I’m disabled and when I used to spend the majority of my time in bed that’s what I wore. My home health aide cut my shirts like that and then sowed string on both sides of the back so it can be tied like a gown. Feels much better to wear a normal shirt than a hospital gown all the time.
Ive been doing the bins for a few years now and people definitely skip over things because most people tend to specialize in certain things so everyone is looking for different things. You definitely grow relationships and people look out for others and swap items.
I have wrapped empty boxes that I put under my tree every year so that there's something there, tree usually goes up before I have any wrapped presents. It started years ago when one of our dogs would pee on any new presents that got put under there so the empty ones were a safety border lol. Now I just like that they fill out underneath the tree. I would never donate them though. It's obvious when people have done a clear out and haven't taken the time to see what's donatable they just dump the lot there. Someone might have bought those though because of the vintage style wrapping paper if they have a vintage tree?
😂 Josh oh my Gosh!! My mom wraps empty presents and puts around the house for decorating! That was hilarious when you unwrapped them! Sorry that people do that. Love you n Haley, so much ❤
I suspect those wrapped empty boxes are perhaps someone donating an elderly relatives Christmas decorations.. my Nana always had wrapped empty boxes around the tree.
You've got 4 figures from "My Hero Academia" there, 3 mixed in with the turtles and that 1 other "cool guy" with red and white hair that you picked up. Very popular anime, they'll make a nice bundle or sell them individually on what not.
The "important looking guy" figure is Todoroki from My Hero Academia anime. Really cool character! You also seem to have found All Might and Bakugo from the same anime. Lucky :)
Hayley just a reason maybe for the cut tshirts. My father just passed away a few days ago and it was hard to clothe him after his bath. The Hospice aide showed us how to cut his tshirts in the back to ease dressing him. It was that or go buy hospital gowns.
😂 Someone wrapped those as props under a tree - maybe at a business. When I managed hotels, we had fake presents in the lobby. I also want to mention how great it is to see nice, kind, friendly folks at y'all's bins. At ours, we were literally frightened by the people making a mad rush to the fresh bins! They did not care who they trampled. It was like the Twilight Zone. 😢 I hope we just went on a bad day...
Those wrapped Christmas gifts remind me of the movie Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase and the grandma bringing all kinds of random things from her house including her cat 😆 Thanks for all the great content guys 💕
Urine bag 😂 Replacement bladders for Camelbacks are about $20, but in my experience most of the small bags aren't selling for enough to bother with. The backpacks are better. Hopefully, the retro design of that one does well!
@hairytornado I think it would be fun if you “interviewed” some of the people you buy from and maybe follow them in a day to see how they source their stuff.
@@chrisbland9539yes I was going to say the same, those are props like in a dental office or something, they may have had a small tree and for decoration just wrapped some random boxes!
Hey Josh, I’m sure you probably thought of this already but just in case you didn’t those empty trash filled present boxes all wrapped up real nice may have been decorative presents for like a hospital or a little clinic that put up there Christmas tree and they put those decorative presents in different sizes under the tree.
@hairytornado at 2:57 you may wanna google lens that vintage purse. Kat the Nurse Flipper just put up a video about non Big Label handbags that go for high $ and yours fits the bill. Keep us posted!
Single shoes are not worthless. There are several groups where people sell single shoes to people who only have one foot or their feet are very different sizes. They'll either look for people with the same sizes on opposite feet or they look for their two sizes one at a time.
Hello You two, For some reason, your video to was super clear; clear that I could just grab you right out of my phone screen! If there was a Goodwill bins like yours near my town; I could probably stay there 3-4 hours digging away! Lol😊😊. You two found a lot of good stuff on this trip! Blessings to you two always 💛
@@onemanstrash8233 No, it is tea dye ... steep some tea as strong as you want your item dyed (more tea bags/ darker the item) and then place your white item into it ... used to blend in stains. Granted it won't be white anymore, but at least it's either wearable or saleable.
I don’t play golf but I love you guys so I’ll check out your other channel. I’m so envious of your finds at the bins. I don’t get to go very often but never find really great stuff like you find. You are living the dream!
I recently bought around 30 artist bears for $4 each. The highest seller was $311! They can do really well. Some are long tail because just the right person who knows about that artist has to come along, but I've done really well with them.
Your bin store looks so nice, clean and bright. I went to ours here in Nashville last week and it was so dark and dingy inside. It did not make me want to stay and dig through all the stuff. They also only had one register going and a line of people with loaded down carts wrapping all the way around the room.
At 7:44 Red and white hair figure is a Shoto Todoroki My Hero Academia anime figure. The others shown near the end of the video are All Might, Ochaco Uraraka, and Katsuki Bakugo from the same anime. I've seen the entire anime before and collect the manga.
Hi from Edgefield, SC. I visited your booth this weekend as well as Goodwill/Salvation Army. Stopped off at Trader Joe's before heading back. Love the show, you two are great! Will you be selling that purse with the mother of pearl on eBay?
Josh, the little bag at 2 min 53 is gorgeous. I want to buy that. Is that possible? I live in the Netherlands but i will pay for shipping ofcourse! Please let me know if its possible and what the price is. Thanks!
Hey Guys! Take care of yourself and each other. I wish U to the best of luck.. Also I want to ask the viewers from Netherlands if there are these kind of Goodwill Bins here? Thanks in advance, Denis
Josh, not sure if someone has said but sometimes stores merchandise for Christmas and wrap empty boxes as pretend presents under a tree display? So it's ok, dont have to have a bad Christmas 😂😂
Had to look up those strange "strengh" shoes as they had me intrigued they are a 'training' shoe and are about £180 pound ($190?) New! Josh some of the figures are anime/manga in with the turtles
