- Take a ride with mk6guy and I as we make a 7 hr drive to pick up my new ride! Initially this was done as a reveal, but it's no surprise now so I changed the title! I traded in my 2017 Dodge Charger Scat Pack in GoMango for this brand new 2018 Dodge Charger Hellcat in Indigo Blue! Check out my latest videos for more on the Cat and car buying advice. Congratulations! Looks beautiful inside out! The Red interior does look very cool! I'm considering this Beast for 2019 when my present lease is over! I'm a fan of turbos but this has plenty of awesome power for a daily driver with all the cabin space! But I wish Dodge added more tech options such as front camera and sensors with turn signal lights on the mirror caps! Enjoy :))
i died when he said "chub engaged" because for sure I went from a softy to a chub XD love chargers I have a v6 2017 but hey im only 20 got more years than hopefully I can own a v8 one ;)
Both colors are great, but IndiGO is definitely a show stopper. Definitely agree with the emotions on the Hellcat, felt the same way when I traded my Challenger Scat.

I bought a fully loaded 2016 yellow and black hemi sport 4x4 sport crewcab (51k msrp) LOVE IT STILL!
i'm a cross country truck driver so it only gets driven when I come home. It just turned 6,900 miles on it. Yes that's right 7k miles only. The dealer about shit when I checked in for its first oil change even though it still showed 25% life left.
Dodge has a special on synthetic oil & filler changes. 3 for $95.....
Less then 5 days in my Hellcat and already have 800 on the odometer, so much fun to drive. A horrible daily though lol I've filled up 6 times already 4 of those on the first day lol

How loud is the supercharger and do you have to push the throttle hard to hear the whine ? Supercharger whine is the reason I want this car
@@Youno954 honestly for .me it was barely noticeable during normal driving, and even when flooring it still isn't as loud as I hoped. But a CAI definitely will fix that!

This is what I was searching for. I have a 2020 frostbite but want to do red interior. Wasn’t sure. Still trying to figure it out. Badass look fir your car though. Frostbite is just a different blue. That’s a fire interior though

Break in period is very rigorous on the Hellcat...0-100 miles, 100-300, 300-500 and no track days until after 1,500 miles. I did it in mine.
Hows the red leather holding up? Im wanting to get it on my widebody challenger.

I hope you know when u put in that half throttle you just slightly messed up the engine.. if u read the manufacturer recommendations it says not to go over certain rpm I believe it’s 4000 for the first 500 miles to break it in. I also hope you changed the oil after that first 500 miles
It's all good man. These engines are designed to be driven out the factory. The break in periods are more like guidelines. Literally every car that's sold on a lot is floored a few times if it's test driven. It's not going to hurt anything. Also, when I did this it had almost 400 miles on it.

Is there is big difference in the power between scat and cat. I think one has 485 and the other 707 but can you feel the difference.
