@@songoku-jx3cb Battle Iq and normal iq are pretty different. In terms of battle Iq I would the other hashiras are up there, gyomei, sanemi, giyuu, muchiro, obanai are definitely higher than shinobu. What I can is that, shinobu is a good strategist, but that is only because she had prepared a plan for a long time and was able to execute it.
@@songoku-jx3cb shinobu isnt the weakest hashira in strength. chapter 142.5 - shes stated to have the strongest pushing and thrusting strength.
@@Crazy_tbh in terms of like actual physical strength (like muscles and all) shes stated to be the weakest. she even mentions this herself that bcos of her small body, shes not as strong as the rest of the hashiras
@@Crazy_tbh she is the weakest hashira . Pushing and thrust is due to her sword type but the damage is very low. She herself has said in one her inner monologues that she is the weakest amongst the hashiras and she can’t even cut the necks of very strong demons therefore she uses poison and pointed sword to inflict damage and kill them with poison .

i love when we finally get in depth to Giyu’s character. i feel like he doesn’t have much personality prior to this. i’m excited🤭
A lot of his character before this is actually showing and hinting towards his story and the content we get in this episode. For example, everything we see him say and do in the first episode is really important characterization of him. He wouldn't have even gone out of his way and given Tanjiro and Nezuko a chance if it weren't for his background. There's a lot to dissect that leads up to this episode.
You shouldn't be surprised that demon slayer cliffhanger is so mean.
But I'm scared that this season end in a cliffhanger. And that would be the meanest 💀

15:03 it’s mentioned before that Shinobu is too psychically weak to actually cut their head off. If you look at her sword, half of it is cut in half and only the point is fully done. Its because she relies on JUST poison. She makes poison out of westeria (idk how to spell it lmao but its the flower that is toxic to demons) so when she even just cuts them, her poison injects into them and kills them without cutting their head off. also, her sister was a hashira, so the demon HAD to of been strong, so she’s not even fully sure the poison will work on it.

Shinobu was pissed & trying to control her emotions because the Master asked her to work with Lady Tamayo, a demon.
Not sure other Prince Deida but Ranking of Kings VA was Yuki Kaji.
When you jokingly said that to defeat a demon, it must cut the head off. But remember Shinobu can't cut heads off because of her sword design. So she said how to defeat it, she referred another way to kill the demon from her pharmaceutical talent. 😊
This whole season is the buildup season. But it’s nice to get to know everyone better and enjoy the time with these fun characters
I am not spoiling here since you have said your self on Tamayo's memories, where she was with Muzan facing the first sun breather Yoriichi Tsugikuni. But its pretty telling just by watching that short scene you could see his hanafuda earrings and his mark on his forehead with red haori.
If I had to take a guess, this must be where muzan got his hanafuda earings ptsd💀. Aint no way he gets to walk away after meeting the strongest slayer.

I really like that first part of Tanjiro asking for advice, idk if it’s the art style or the animation in the movements of the whole scene, but it felt so nostalgic, like playing a pokemon game as well as being relatable.
Also potential spoiler (I’ve not read the manga so just were my mind went)
I think the demon is Tamayo, having to work with the insect hashira and her being scared to go there because she’s the one who killed her sister when she worked with Muzan. Shinobu is angry but trying to control her emotions because she may have to work with the demon who killed her sister

So, i think the demon that (able to) killed her must have some kind of the same knowledge (?). Or maybe it was actually a different demon and Tamayo just coincidentally being there when she was killed so there's some misunderstanding between them. Considering that Shinobu's sister said she believes that demons and humans can live cooperatively in the moment she's dying.
Also to the fact that she's mad about something and just going to tell Kanao about the demon. Im sure the Master had told her about the collaboration, right? That sounds so suspicious,yo LOL

I’m as caught up on demon slayer as you guys and not having read any manga. I didn’t know Akaza didn’t kill women and children….. so whoever spoiled it for you ended up spoiling it for me after watching this…. Little disappointed, up till now I still hated him for killing Rengoku.
*edit* I specifically remember him lunging after Tanjiro to get him out of the way in his fight with Rengoku, so I was still convinced he killed children.

12:00 Shinobu is pissed probably cuz Giyu won't join Hashira Training. She has always had anger issues while Kanae, Shinobu's dead sister was always happy and positive. Now, Shinobu tries her best to keep up a fake smile for Kanae's sake.
12:40 I'm hypothesising who might be that demon. Now, there are only 5 demons of the plot's importance: Nakime (Biwa Demon), Akaza, Doma, Kokushibo and Muzan. I doubt it would be Koku or Muzan cuz ig there will be much more needed to kill those 2. It ain't Akaza cuz he doesn't eat women. Prob not Nakime either cuz i dont think her demon blood art of controlling the infinity castle would be so deadly. Soooooo, my guess is Doma, we have already seen how of a psychopath he is, plus he eats women too. I think he ONLY eats women cuz i dont think Akaza would have THIS much beef with Doma by just surpassing him in de ranks. It just makes sence: Only eating women refuses to eat women.
How to kill Doma? ig it would be poison of some sort knowing it would prob be Shinobu who fights Doma. These 3 uppermoons and Muzan would require a special way to kill them. So for Doma, ig that Shinobu can consume a lot of wisteria poisons and try to be eaten by Doma so he dies. Same with Tamayo, since they are gonna be working together.

this is what i wanted from demon slayer atm, more plot/story/char dev and less fighting, i do really hope they dont chuck in a vibe killing bit of comedy during or after every more serious scene though. like i remember when rengoku died and there was some silly comedic stuff happening on screen and it honestly took me out of the moment and killed the scene for me
