That's one of the best views in the north east, that and the Tyne at hexham, bamburgh castle, man a could list hundreds of places up there. My earliest memories are of the pits around where my grandad worked, he was down Elemore colliery for a good spell bfore they came south to the Midlands to work at birch coppice and daw mill now both gone.
