just a heads up, if you are on console you must have a capture card and stream from your computer in order to use the overlays. the extention needs obs to work

Nope. OBS not needed for this extension. Though if this extension is giving you issues you can try an alternative one in the pinned comment :)

Which alerts are best for Xbox so followers are able to see alerts also ? Especially new followers.. I used this and works but my followers can’t see the alert ☹️
Viewers need to be watching from a PC or Laptop, they won't be able to see them if they're watching your stream from anything else.

Does this work so like say there is 30 people in your stream and everyone is talking in your chat does the chat show on the left or right side of your stream like when you see say Joelmile I think his name is when you watch his stream all the people watching can see his chat or is there something else you hav to do or install to show that
You need to add a chat box. Watch my video on how to add Twitch chat :)

@@sonbellamy8438 Specifically for the overlay using this Twitch extension, you don't need a capture card since it's using a Twitch Extension. The drawbacks to this method are that sometimes people have issues with it and you can't really control or customize it as well.

Not sure you can, it's really limited on the customization. That's why most people use a capture card and stream via their pc

Make sure you log out of that twitch account too

I know my followers won’t be able to see it but while I’m playing will it pop up on my screen?
Your follows will see it if they're watching on PC but you won't be able to see unless you're watching your own stream

Not sure you can change the position in the extension sadly, but luckily I have a better method that I'll be making a video series on late next month! It's a new software that isn't released yet but is perfect for console streamers :)

On Xbox When I click on the cog wheel it doesn’t take me to the free overlays it keeps saying every single time to configure…

I tried following what you said but it won't let me set it as an overlay at all. It says it needs configuration so I tried configuring some things but it still wont let me. I'm doing it from my laptop.

If you chat is watching from mobile then they can't see it, but they should see it if they're watching from PC :)
