Awesome 👏🏼 You are both SO Great and your positive vibes make it all the better. Can’t thank you enough for all the musical inspiration you’ve given me over the years! GOD BLESS YOU, EJ & DD!
Favorite two guitar players. It’s so great you two are collaborating. And are real men! No bull. So talented! Eric’s songs influenced a lot of of guitarist. Doyle is the man!
Two greats, two so talented, and two humble guys, except when they play. Thank you, gentleman, for all the joy you give the world. Doyle, I am embarrassed that I knew nothing about you and your guitar work until fairly recently. I’m not even a religious guy, but your three part Sunday String-a-longs are so enjoyable. There is your playing, your stories, and the positivity of Christ in your life. Your story about your daughter Heidy was amazing, and made me cry. I’ve recommended your Sunday String a longs to quite a few people. You are a good man, and one of the very best guitar players I have ever heard. Just accept the compliment. ;-)
Sounding great guys. Eric, You are a great picker. I've heard Doyle mention you in his video several times. It is great to see you and hear you pick. God bless you guys.
You two playing together in a string along would be something great. I'd for sure tune in for that. Not that I don't tune in each and every time already.😘
I’ve been watching the String Along every Sunday morning for the past couple of months and its truly become something special for me. Something I look forward to. I only wish I had a sliver of Doyles talent. He’s amazing. Nice seeing that Eric is keeping company with such a fine man 👍
I saw you at Mississippi Nights in St. Louis, Eric, right after your first record came out and nobody knew who you were yet. There were just a couple hundred people so there wasn't a bad seat in the house. I thought then that you were the best electric guitarist I had seen since I saw a young Phil Keaggy back in the 70's. My opinion hasn't changed. And you're both good acoustic players as well (although there's only one Doyle Dykes when it comes to fingerpicking!) Blessings on y'all.
Hey D... Didn't Chet say, "Just like I wrote it folks"? Did you get that from him? I'm gonna use that one! Was that from your Sunday School teacher? Your mom? Grandpa? Or just another lovingly inspired "Doyle-ism"? Love you Cliff in Florida
Being nervous and controlling adrenaline are not the same exactly, as Eric says preparation helps you ride the nervous part. However you can control adrenaline to some extent. When you are shaking it is actually your muscles working to get rid of excess adrenaline. If you top this stage half an hour to an hour before a gig you can enter the stage with much more physical calm and ride the excitement. FWIW
Now that is a great spokesperson!!!!!!! Thank you, Doyle and Eric. We really appreciate all that you guys do!!!!
Thank you for sharing this meeting. hug for both of you from Argentina!
