- You've all seen Fatslob play, so why not Fatslob Nothing!? This was a first attempt of possibly many with this ridiculous map. We will do more in the future if this is popular. Thank you to everyone for spreading the love on the Twitch stream during this, it was insane and I am very grateful.

T90 pyramids were built with mostly slave labour but tgere were paid architects. Presumably any payments fpund would be to the owners of the slaves and to the most skilled craftsmen B)

A cool twist to this would be that they spawn trees when destroyed and what if someone just like... got monks and the upgrade where only 1 has to recharge. LOL

Hey mate, I would love to play this game! But not sure how to do it..
Are these games held on game ranger or Garena? Or is it in any? Or another place?
Also is there a certain version I have to have?
I haven't played it in years! Community was semi-dead around 9 years ago and only CBA games were available and I had to stop due to some circumstances.
Also, is it a paid version only? As i remeber they stopped supportung it and only cracked and modded versions were playable..
Can you or anyone point me into the right direction on how I can jump into this community please?

Minesweeper is very random. There are plenty of common configurations where it is impossible to determine where the mines are and you will just have to guess. An average game on expert forces you to make ~2 50-50 guesses on where the mines are.

Has no one made a fake out nothing yet? Your town center starts surrounded by trees as far as the eye can see, but if you chop deep enough you can access an actual Arabia map

I kinda like the idea. Everyone starts selling wood at the start, then they find out that most trees have like 10 of it and there's nothing beyond. >:D
LOL and don't put ANY other resources on the map after they find out there is nothing beyond what they start with, I wonder who would end up victorious in that kinda "Fakeout Nothing/Resource Nothing" Map! It's pure genius, MAKE IT HAPPEN! PERSIAN DOUCHING the monument+ Vill rush WINS!

(Also, three players with 0 kills at the end is really something. Oh well, at least the four who actually did play made the game entertaining.)
+1 hour and blue might have actually reached purple's base... which wouldn't have mattered cause he wasn't in control of the middle anymore. But grey's 20k gold and not making anything makes me cringe.

extra gold in the back, double deer patch right next to the berries, which are in a perfect shape, straight resource lines and well placed hills. :D

The Pyramids were actually constructed mostly by skilled laborers, who were payed extremely well. You don't get structures that last thousands of years by cheaping out on them, and you definitely don't want your skilled laborers dying needlessly, since there are only so many of them. So very few deaths during the construction of the pyramids.
...With a few notable exceptions during an unpleasant dynasty.

The logical reasoning is as such though:

This was really only a match between 4 players. Gray, Green, Teal and Blue took too long to do anything.
Yes I'm sure the most fun you can have in AOE online is by just slowly building a base, do nothing and then seeing a you lose message after an hour of that. Not actually fighting, that's boring

Ideas for maps... Boar nothing(with some iron boards every now and then), sheep nothing, marsh nothing, with some small areas of land here and there, forage nothing, reverse pilgrims, were players start in the mainland trapped with an AI with a ton of army and need to scape to small islands.

Watch the streams. When something special happens, it's MUCH more fun to be watching the stream. I'm saddened that I didn't watch the Texas map community game live. That would have been an amazing experience.

This has got to be the most fun a mapmaker has had since relic nothing
here's a Nothing Map request: Everything Nothing as i would call it. Resources, relics, walls, water, all the animals, the veriest types of land, and anything else non-player related placed randomly through out the whole map. making it would take a long long time but it would be interesting to see and the reactions of others. i would love to try an make it however i'm not the best at mapmaking.

Philster plays AoE2 like Mayweather boxes. Sits back, does nothing and still manages to convince people that he's entertaining. Not that he was alone in that this game.
I think this would have been a case where beelining for the monument would be good. You might get enough of a headstart to be able to win practically uncontested, although only if you're the only one to do it.
Watching your streams/videos have given me both the desire to pick this game up again, and think more about how I build up my civs.
I liked that LB10 played it full Fatslob style. But happy red won, he was the one that did most of the work pushing. Was fun to see yellow stand by him to the end, refusing to backstab.

I kind of want to look into an Everything Nothing. Every tile could be anything: wall, gold, stone, tree, boar, deer, water, hill, relic, wolf... you know how it goes. :)

I would chop wood as fast as I can at the wall clostest to the hill, I would also attack the target wall with the castle starting off. Once the trees are clear, get that Ram going
T90 you gotta make a Fatslob battle royale! Just substitute the storm with walls that slowly creep in from the map edges - pushing people closer and closer to the middle. Of course you can destroy the walls if you have enough time.

You know, we need Fatslob to play this map? Maybe get Hairy Davis to face Fatslob on this map? Bet the game would last at least 24 hours ;p

Why play this game mode if you're just going to afk whole game?
Pretty much just watched only 4 players playing in a 8 player FFA with over 1.5million resources between them, and it ends like that. I know everyone has their own style but when it has no contribution to the actual game there needs to be some rule in place that you can't just turtle up and do nothing. Grey, Teal, Blue and Green did 0 in this game
It was like watching an Extreme Camping strategy tutorial by 4 of the players. All those resources and Grey did absolutely nothing? I'm glad one of them didn't sneak in and win in the end.
This is why I instantly liked the battle royale mode. You can't just sit on your ass doing nothing, you have to be active.

I played a lot back in the '90s but have only recently picked it back up . I plan on playing with a few friends and surprising them with actual stas instead of the random trash we did as kids.

It's just a bunch of tiny islands, each only filled with a single resource that is only wood, stone, or gold and stupid amounts of fish, like if Pilgrims only had the mini islands.
This is the most effective way to kill a player slowly irl

I think the map should be explored, maybe a few less walls, and at least some corridors for travel.

No no no, do it the opposite way, there are plenty of resources and land to build, but slowly a great mass of walls close in from the map edges (like how the storm works) - forcing people closer and closer or the walls will crush them
when i wake up i set a time for ten minutes, and just clean up things in general. and I stop after ten minutes. it helps you feel better and while its not much at once, it adds up over time.
T90Legend is not enough.

What am I doing? I haven't played or thought about this game at all since I was 4 years old and thought the most fun possible in the world was typing in the cheat to summon a sportscar.

Most of them are implemented for Voobly only, thought some are also for HD (many versions of forest nothing, including pilgrims nothing, merry go, some versions of battle royale and so forth). As we know T90 plays only on Voobly, so I don't see him doing a map pack for HD.

yes piramids builders were partly paid at least and they moved the stones by putting water on the sand ahead to the blocks.....

Is it possible to make it that when villagers(only) attack walls they act like they mine stone. Thus it would be like stone nothing but more like forrest nothing cause you can destroy stone mines(walls)
