1. time and genes makes people bald sometimes XD 2. after a show in Russia where Tim was really drunk he slammed his bass cuz Thomas was upset at him for not playing correctly because he was drunk and that, after the show he went back home, is all ok between them but he stated he will not be playing shows for a while. All the Bass in new songs of Mukilthearth was played by Tim, but the remaster of the songs of 30 years war were played by Jon Henry (the bassist for all the shows TFoT are playing at the moment and the one playing this one 😎🤘🏻). So yeah, thats it (also, the video of Tim slamming his Bass is on YT, search it if you want to)

that guy is a maniac. his choices in the breakdown of Semi-Fiction are especially incredible. Im happy to see he's still at it. Thomas has always been an inspiration to me, but in a (Guitar World?) magazine article I read many years ago he was interviewed and asked about guitar (of course) and he said something like "im not really a guitarist, I'm a drummer first" and I was like eh okay, lets see you play Andrew's stuff then.
@Alex Bernadino I seem to remember Thomas saying the drum parts are only like 65-75% him (as opposed to the bass parts, which are almost entirely his work) and the rest is fleshed out by Andrew, but you are correct that he's responsible for writing the lion's share of the drum parts. Now, whether he can play those parts as well as Andrew... well, probably not, seeing as he's not the guy who actually plays those parts live or on record.
I'd believe bass over drums. IIRC, the only song Thomas really took over on drums was either "Single" or "Webs" on ITUE. I forget which one it is, but he was the drummer in the recording. You can see a clear trail of Andrew's signature style in all of the recordings@@alexbernadino8281
Semi Fiction is by far my favorite FOT song to rage to. If i were in the audience, he wouldnt be disappointed lol. And I'd be in pain the next day. Or jail.
This was an opening slot for Glassjaw so it's expected that the audience wasn't totally on the same page haha. Still seemed like a solid set regardless
Andrew has always been in the band with me. And Henry (bass) has been in our road crew since the beginning, and is in my band JustLikeVinyl and has been for 10 year+. But yeah, these guys are new.
