If you just unscrew the lids from the bottles you can water the plant more easily. And watering in the evenings is much better than morning or night less evaporation but if you have to water in the morning do it early and when the garden is shaded for at least a hour giving plenty of time for the water to soak into the ground.

I’m definitely going to use the idea you have using the bottles, I have been starting my seeds in the house boy I have lots in my kitchen lol, So I’m also using the containers you get when you buy the rotisserie chicken they are perfect for small green houses, I use the little plastic planting containers so the one chicken container will hold 3 and boy it’s been amazing!

Where we live it's still in the 40's on a good day😂 It would be awesome to plant early!! It's probably a good idea to plant before it gets to hot and burns everything up❤ I see alot of people putting gardens in, from the south.
Replay# I don't know if you are interested. It's said if u like strawberry onions which are grown in Florida. Is a sweet onion. They plant a row of onion than a row of strawberries. It's said that the onion keeps the bugs from the strawberries hence the name strawberry onion. The bigger the onion the sweeter it is.

With deer in the area and the occasional goats etc out of their enclosure your garden could easily get consumed. You might have to pot up and wait another while. Those covers work well for brassicas. I'm just worried the tender ones will stunt if it gets cold, therefore taking longer to grow in the end ;)! Not sure if this would work. But here we go. What about either put like watermelon or potatoes on the little hills that you used to ride bikes on. Might be good for vine plants or potatoes. Great videos. Were in northeastern Indiana and we got about 1/2in of snow last night. But this morning we were out in the garden putting manure and topsoil the tilled it alittle. Garden ready for planting. Greenhouse has all our starter plants in it. Lots of fruit bushes and trees being planted and a few nut trees.
Crandal. The loofa will take over the whole garden. They are slow growers at first. Then they get HUGE. Plz think about planting them away from your main garden. If u can’t make a trellis out of cattle panels; then plant them over by the chicken house. GB.
Just be careful how close you plant your squash , cucumbers and melons. Vining fruit and veggies will cross pollinate if too close and you can end up with strange cross breeds.

It doesn’t do any good to plant your tomatoes early. They won’t grow until the soil is nice and warm. Same with cucumbers.
Crandall, There is a right and wrong side of your landscape fabrics. You need to read the instructions on the type you purchased.
