As a Norweigan, I can confidently say these are not the weirdest commercials we have produced.
As another Norwegian, I can confirm this statement
Ikr, Mr. Melk er jo ikke rar?
@@chrisgames5201Mmmm~ Smaker Godt!
Omg jeg hadde glemt Mr melk!
Jaaa du har rett😶
Norwegians won't buy the product unless the commercial is funny. We also have an annaual prize event for best commercial.
Yes, an annual award ceremony for the best commercial, Gullfisken («The Goldfish»).
And every year, TRY takes home almost all the awards.
Or at least they used to.
Number 1 this old and do u even understand what they are saying????
Mr. Melk was one person immitated across all high schools and colleges across Norway when it first aired - he was a beloved man indeed.
I still go "Scmaker godt" sometimes like a tic 😂
At one point it was a normal reaction for many people😂@@chrisgames5201
I can confirm as a younger Norwegian, it was said all across elementary and middle schools as well.
@@chrisgames5201SAME LOL!
Where’s «Doffen har dævva»? Arguably one of the most iconic commercials on Norwegian tv ever
yep and "fattern er homo"
Doffen har daua: czcams.com/video/7iSki63ZDg0/video.html
Fattern er homo: czcams.com/video/4QUK_a78Ar8/video.html
YES!!!!! i ALWAYS quote that whenever something stupid happens in a game that gets someone killed lol!
That old is a lot older though
How did none of the Grandiosa commercials make it in here, those songs are golden.
Jenny Skavland is pretty young, we try not to sexuallize her.
Vi snakker lørdagspizza
@@SpaceMonkey1900 Vi snakker ekte kjærlighet
Respekt for Grandiosa !
or Japp commercial
The [Danish speech] in the subtitles when the baby was speaking gave me a good laugh 😂
Why? Norway and Denmark share the write/read so it's Norwegian bokmål/book goal we have new Norwegian as well but no one understands that 😂
Same. Best caption ever!
Why are there both DANES *AND* SWEDISH in a NORWEGIAN video!?!?!?.
@@TheCrazykerNot «book goal»! «Mål» is the same word as for «goal», but not it’s the wrong meaning. Here bokmål should be «book language», meaning «the written language». Also, Danish and written Norwegian is NOT the same. It is only similar.
@@TheCrazyker the point is that the baby cant speak properly and sounds like incomprehensible babbling, like Danish
At 5:50 that guy is pretending to find the bag for the first time just so he can have another piece. This is because their slogan is "It's almost impossible to eat just one", which most Norwegians watching this ad will already know from previous ads.
The Smash bar BDSM commercial is lacking some context, before that one, there were a various hands grabbing for the chocolate and being slapped away, so it was a a very short commercial, I think they ran for months before the BDSM one was aired and you got the punchline, so to speak.
8:04 "is this allowed on Norwegian TV?" yes, yes it is, and as a Norwegian i can safely say that i have seen far worse. i remember a comedy show (not the name of it though) that asked the question, "do you really need all that bulky equipment to play ice hockey?" so what did they do? they went in the complete opposite direction and played hockey, naked; full on nude. noe guy even got his "sausage" stuck, frozen to the ice, AND THEY ZOOMED IN ON IT. this was a normal evening show btw, think like 7PM ish
Getting your meat stuck on the ice must be the worst experience ever
@@Frienea he was indeed screaming
å jadda! de gode dager der Norsk TV faktisk var verdt noke!
@@Frieneaeven worse getting it on tape and sent on tv...
Funniest commercial to date is the one were the wife borrows the husbands car again and again, only to return it looking like trash. So one day he puts on her dress and we see him tearing down the neighbourhood, rolling around in mud, just wreaking her dress before returning to the kitchen table and his newspaper (still wearing the dress). She comes home: "I just borrowed your car" and he replies "I just borrowed your dress". Can't find it. But I absolutely loved that commercial!
I remember that one aswell.
I think it was for some wash powder or car wash
@@SpaceMonkey1900 No, I'm pretty sure it was a car commercial for Møller Bil. Not equally sure if it were for a VW Golf, but I think so. Either way, it was hilarious 🤣
that one was absolute Comedic GOLD!
«SIVERT! Hod i torsken!! Kos med han! Kos med han!»
Is my favourite 🤣🤣
Wait so people in the UK does not hold dead fish to cure all ailments?
*Skill issue*
many of these are on cinema, we often had a guessing game before movie start
Something funny about the "hold the cod" commercial is that it got me thinking about the word "Torska" in Sweden, its like getting cought by the police, or loosing a bet. Torsk = Cod, Torska = Getting caught/Loosing a bet. So holding the Cod sybolises "torska" for me from now on 🤣🤣
Oh, I’m Norway when you get caught we say “ferska”, like “tatt på fersken”, and when we say torsk about a person, that kinda means idiot or fool 😅
@@dancesmokesmile344 haha, another use for "torsk" in Sweden is a male that buys prostitutes, then he is a "torsk" xD got some wierd uses for wierd words!
@@dancesmokesmile344 dont you mean "tosk"? Tosk means to be stupid or acting like an idiot lol. where i live, we have a very funny way of saying it. we say "Førbannja Tøsk!" with a very aggressive lean-in from the B lol.
In the title it said finish
But it is norwegian ❤
Shut up Finnish person😤
The BDSM Smash ad is best when seen in chronological order. Because there is a build up to the leather glove. XD
A little fun fact about the sex toy commercial; they use the word "drahjelp" for help, which could be translated directly to tug help. I don't think they meant for it to be funny in English as well, but for the Norwegian version I'm sure they used that on purpose. Kondomeriet is always using puns, and play on words to lighten the mood when talking about sex.
My favourite of these commercials is the one with the cod. It is over the top, but at the same time it is so down to earth. Just ordinary Norwegians, fixing their ordinary problems with the extraordinary attributes of the cod.
What you should know about our ads, is that a lot of them have a continued story between them. So, if you suddenly see one, it might make even less sense than normal. XD
The app app app commercial was only allowed to air after 6 or 8pm.
The best part is when the baby at the end makes baby noises, it says "Danish speech" in the subtitles. XD
6:21 you should see the version when I guy is holding a tray for taste testers but everyone can just have one each, and people end up attacking him, and the slogan is “you can’t have just one”. As a teen I lived in the US for a while, and I knew I couldn’t live with I thought them, so I brought a few packs. I lived with some of my cousins. My one cousin ended up eating all the bags in one sitting and I just got to taste two bites. When he came to stay with me in Norway for a few months last summer, he had “forgotten” about them, so I went to buy some really late at night, because I was like “you HAVE to try them”. He remembered, he just wanted some of those and tricked me to going to the store at night 😂
The original ❤ we love it 😂
Norwegian or Finnish ? 🇳🇴🇫🇮
Edit.
Yeah just wrong title.
The smash commercial is one of those that is aired after 11 or 12 I think;). Not even sure if Ive seen it, but seen this compilation before. It has probably not been shown a lot as its a bit controversial 😅.
Likely bait title as the thumbnail is correct
Yes please do more reactions to Norwegian commercials😊. Theres many good ones, not sure if they have added them to compilations but Im sure theres more pretty good ones😊
I was in Holland last year.. and I gave the t-shirt from the Grandiosa commercial,, Ti my friend.. last I herd all people in Amsterdam think he is Norwegian hahahahahaha Best joke ever
Why is the title for this video Finnish commercials when it's clearly only Norwegian ones?
I always thought Mr Milk was a bizzare yet funny commercial growing up, that I especially didn't mind watching at the cinema pre-film start. Mind you, of the more recent years commercials, I quite like the family saga pushed by the Coop Xtra chainshops, that follows the shenanigans of a father (and his poor family) obsessed with good deals (and sometime their baffled or equally competetive neighbours) - some are better then others, but they usually make me grin.
The full nuance of the Jarlsberg commercial is kind of unavailable in English, because there's no concept of gulost - yellow cheese. Cheese varieties in Britain are more obviously different from each other, whereas in Norway there's Brown Cheese, Yellow Cheese, and Fancy Cheese - the fancy ones being cheeses with Names, like Mozarella, Brie, Stilton, etc. The Jarlsberg ads go out of their way to establish that Jarlsberg is not just another brand of the same Yellow Cheese, but a Fancy Cheese in itself, with a Name.
Love it!More please!😂😊
I noticed with the last one with the baby doing the gaga goo goo speech, its texted as (Danish Speech) Thats just hillarious
Norsk comersals are amazing. Love from Sverige
The first one is actually Swedish, Owl is based in Stockholm and i could hear on that guy he had an Swedish accent
its so cool watching a Irishman looking at norwegian commercials
who’s irish?
I Love our Scandinavian Neighbours!❤😂❤
-Much Love from Sweden🇸🇪
I remember these from when i was a child 😭😭
I'm so happy I get to see these everyday
As a Norwegian I can confirm that we are indeed crazy
I swear, doffen har daua should’ve been there, that things ICONIC.
The inaudible part in the beginning is "C-2000"
lol im norwegian and its so relatable🤣🤣🤣🤣
As a Norwegian I like the chair lady cuz in the middle of it she says a chair I can trust but trust in Norwegian is stole and chair is stol but I notice a big pattern of puns in these commercials and that's why tv is kinda fun to watch
Mr. Milk is exactly how brits talking norwegian sounds
5:21
He's *not* a perfect Norwegian, he has a American accent and the ad is making fun of American ads and TV and Hollywood.
That's kind of the point.
Ok but the fact i have seen theese so many times
Love your reactions! 😂
Norwegians can afford these types of high end commercials, sweden doesn’t really have anything that exciting. But it’s crazy that they let some of those slide🤣
I do belive the did send some of the comercials after 21.00 at night tho
12:34 this ad made me cry the first time I saw it
I am shocked people are shocked! Now I get why ppl consider me a weirdo, on my travels 😅
Can't believe they got Gary Oldman @ 20:50.
Love the chees jarlsbergs commercials bc of the wolfhound 🥰 i use to have 3 Irish wolfhounds
"I'm sorry if you're a vegan...". My Portuguese ass: "Hmmmm... Codfish... Yummy"
Wrong title
Appappapp was so fun! 😂
Norwegians are nor vegans, so no issue with holding the cod.
One time a grocery store called Rema 1000 and they did some weird commercials
As a norwegian with the name Kim. My fam mocked me when that kims commercial happened. Oh and you should react to the norwegian Japp commercials
Oh cool... We had the Kavli ad in Sweden too, I seem to recall that it was slightly changed though, not the ad in itself, but the product displayed was other of their products. I can explain this with the fact that we have several own branded kaviars. :) Kavli is definitely one of the best tubed food companies in scandinavia. :D Oh, and Jarlsberg is a popular brand here as well.
Furthermore, now you also need to watch danish ads. :P
you know the first clip with cheez doodles is actually my uncle who was the voice actor
I have not seen many of these in years. Whatever, a man is a man. Classic lol
BTW, the title of this vid is a bit misleading ;)
12:33 this one is still on TV😂 it's the mascot of a chocolate called Stratos that has air bubbles in the chocolate and it's SO good🇳🇴 17:57 this one, Even this one 20:42 😂
There is a Norwegian milk commercial with a kid and a grandma and the grandma starts cursing so much 😭💀
Where’s the Coop ads?😂
Gjør det billig!
@@nicjo_ 🤣
I think you got the title a bit mixed up 🙂
As a Vegan living in Norway I feel these on a different level. As much as a flinch over the animals they still make me laugh and I feel dirty afterwards. 😂
A bit like me watching the BDSM Smash commercial then
Remember if you have a bad day..
*kos med torsken(cuddle with the fish)
3:57 I’m a Norwegian vegan, and I laughed so hard at that, I hadn’t seen any of those yet. I have a feeling the next one is gonna be Mr. Melk, because it’s Tine?
IT WAS MR MELK! 😂 I love the weird American accent he has
No like most of these I've seen as a child and just now am I understanding most of them 😭😭😭😭
8:36 I never seen that one before (It got to sus that it got deleted from the tv)
if you want really wierd Norwegain comercial, you have to see the ones from the 90s
1st one is swedish Olw company
Smash is amazing treat ❤
21:18 kæm andre ælske denna (who else loves this)
2:30 that's my irl grandpa no joke!
Kims Mexican Fiesta is godly good though!
12:28 e vest ka det her vaforno med ein gang 💀😭 (ily Olli Stratos reklame)
Tine melk hears like he is talking 🇸🇪
LOVE U BRO❤❤
The sadist commercial was shown in cinemas, not on TV if I'm not mistaken
It's the BUSINESS people that are crazy, not the citizens!
Funny as FEKK anyway😂😂😂❤ Og Takk 🙏🫠🍀
That commercial at 8:30 i would not be able to watch with my grandmother
I remembered it was akward watching it with my family😂 but i believe they only showed it at night, or after 21.00
you are watching Norwegian commercials.
i am just watching commercials.
we are not the same.
As a Norwegian i can confirm
Kims chips is a Danish company
no its not?
Haha, what😂 I googled it. KiMs started out as a danish snack-brand, but is now owned by Orkla confectionary & snacks, which is Norwegian. Norway bought KiMs in either 1993, 2004 or 2005. Wiki says different years based on which language you read it in apparantly😂 so the Norwegian wiki says 1993, the Swedish says 2004 and the Danish says 2005. Either way it is Norwegian now, but it used to be Danish.
Oh, but they still sell the products to Denmark I assume. I learn something new every day! (I read this on wikipedia, Orkla’s own company website and kims own website).
i got the 2 nd smash add irl
me when i get an ad in the middle of watching ads: >:(
Why is the kims advert removed
that BDSM glove one was banned actually
im a norwegian and i have never seen the commercial on 8:40
I HAVE NEVER SEEN THAT 😮 8:52
Are you from norway? I am from norway❤
why did you skip the Kims ad?
Norwegians think we're pretty conservative, so it's very fun to see reactions to videos where we clearly are not based on what we accept. But this is how I feel; if it's dangerous, then wear a helmet. Dangerous does not mean don't. The only deviation from this principle in Norway is with drugs. We criminalized the building of viking ships out of fear of cannabis.
Smart making wierd comercials because you do remember them. Thats kinda the point
21:39 Casually roasting danish people that ad is doing
8:49 as a fellow norwegian i watch youtube all the time and i get alot of ads for smash and i have never seend that i think its banned
Mostly all of these atleast makes sense for a norwegian. And some of them were good in english too 😅
The Japanese makes commercials that over half of them doesnt even make sense for themselves 😅 ❤
Love you Norway i from Norway
I am from norway Here you see What We need to live with😢
I am Actually Norwegian
🇳🇴
Det er eg og
Omg🇳🇴
