People can diss this guy. He's still very young and if you have eyes you can see he possesses a level of technique and ability that is extremely rare at his age. He's played out of position in a very faulty side and has struggled for consistency, but screenshot this and come back in a few years and apologise

Everybody can talk whatever they want bout Kai, but for me he a very good player. He struggling to score this starting season, but i know he can do it. Not a Chelsea fan but I like this kid. He’s really talented.
You can tell he gets a bit agitated as soon as he's asked about his position. He's been asked to play all around the midfield and attack, and you can tell in the first few games of this season how difficult it's been for him in that number 9 role. The attacking system hasn't been working for us that well so far. That number 9 role for Chelsea is really difficult as we've seen from Lukaku in games where he barely touched the ball. Kai's been asked to fill that role for the first three games and he's also struggled there.
Tuchel and his team really need to figure something out, it's not only Kai who's struggled there, several number 9s over the past 5 years have struggled there under Lampard and Tuchel. We were okay relying on Hazard under Sarri, and then Costa before him under Conte. But now it's a real puzzle.
Under Lampard the number 9 was Tammy and he didn't really struggle. It was before Lampard that number 9s were blowing hot and cold and most recently Lukaku.

Y'all that say this man doesn't give chelsea enough....please stop tripping....his performance against Tottenham when he played upfront was crazy....Kai was bullying Romero......I think it's TT that's caught in his mind trying to find the best formation....let's look at Mason mount....you will think he isn't performing but he actually is...just that the formation isn't working and sterling is not comfortable as a 9...he loves running at defenders on the wing...so he should play as a winger...Kai doesn't have the speed to play as a winger.

I don’t know what he lacks but he lacks something. He has allot more talent than he’s displayed. But, I can’t put my finger on what he needs to improve on. It’s not like he has a huge deficiency in his game. He’s an outstanding player in most every category he just doesn’t impact games the way somebody with his talent should.
Agree 100%, he’s a quality player but not getting his full potential. I think a manager like Pep or Klopp could do wonders for him - hopefully Hansi Flick can improve his game during the World Cup

If this man plays in his position behind the strike making late runs he will become a monster! we need to play him and mount in their true position (CAM) and rotate them. Or even better play Havertz at CAM ans Mount as Cm behind him wo moves into CAM when Kai makes his runs! (leave a CM back as a CDM when this happens)
Ronaldinho and Eto, I think he just revealed his a Barca fan that likes to play a forward position. Let’s hope they don’t come calling. Personally I see him playing a box to box position. Goals don’t seem to come easy for him unless it’s a header. One day I would love to see he and Mount playing with Rice in behind them. But that will probably never happen with Tuchel.
