Shoutout to the cameraman and his assistant at 1:34 . Those 80's TV cameras were HEAVY, and they have big fat cords running out the back. Freddie Mercury, almost certainly improvising, gets right up to the camera lens and starts running around them, and they don't miss a frame. You can see the assistant untangling the video and mic cords at the end, not skipping a beat. Freddie grins and gestures at them as if to say "Did you see that? These guys are awesome!" You can't wright this sh*t.

Hey yeah, baby, now your struggle's all in vain, yeah

Convinced our voices can't be heard
We just wanna scream it louder and louder and louder
What the hell are we fighting for?

I was 7 years old. My mom sat us down to watch some of this amazing concert and I still remember when Queen took the stage shortly after lunchtime Wisconsin time and their 22-23 minutes to this day remains the greatest live performance by a rock band ever. I've met a few others who are older and seen Queen in the 70's and each one of the unanimously agree that Queen was the best rock concert they ever seen and that the band was flawless. Queen is the one band outside of The Beatles that I would want to see above any other in their prime. Actually I would probably put Queen on top of the list. Even almost 30 years later this performance is untouchable and perfect. Freddie was in his element at the top of his game and the band were right in line firing on all cylinders. What a band what a fricking band!!!!

I saw them in the mid to late seventies and it was the best concert ever!!! Only thing that came even close was Prince and Aerosmith.

@@davidnclearlaketx omfg im so jealous. You grew up during the best era for rock n roll both studio album wise and seeing this awesome bands live. My uncle and dad both seen Queen three times back then and they said Queen toured a lot since they came over on almost every album release. I just got done reading a book about the Ozzy tour where he took out a young Van Halen as openers and said by mid tour the crowd was already full at the venue to see Van Halen. Man i can listen to people's stories about seeing these great classic rock bands live all day. I mean I had the hair bands grow up and was old enough to see grunge bands and the resurgence of punk in the 90's, but I'll always say that if i can be reborn at any point in time; it would have to be like the early 1950's so im old enough to see The Beatles and Stones on Sullivan then old enough to attend those great 70's shows with Queen, Zeppelin, Who, Aerosmith (i love Aerosmith btw), The Guess Who, Skynard and dozens of others. Man you sure lived through the best era of rock n roll both studio and live wise if you ask me. I would say it lies between 1972-1983 would be the best era

For what it’s worth, I saw a documentary where Brian described the Beatles work as the bible when composing their music.

Possibly one of the greatest live performances ever. His command of the stage and audience is amazing. The only other person I have ever seen command a stage like that and have the theatrics and voice to match is Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickenson.
