I freakin love Northlane!!! Def one of my favorite bands out there recently.
Ngl it took me a few listens to really get into it. I don’t think they’ll ever release anything that’ll fully grab me like Alien did, but this is still a solid track. Love the groove and electronic elements

Can't get over how infectious this chorus is.
Northlane knows how to make good tunes and the hooks are always there because Marcus is too talented and he is an incredible vocalist.
This will be a banger live, which is where Northlane really shines. The album no doubt will have some heavier punchier moments. Looking forward to hearing the album as a whole.

I love how Nik doesn't say much when the song is playing, but I can still see the gears churning inside his head, analysing the music in a much deeper way than he is letting on.

honestly i really would have like some more chord changes in the chorus
Well i mean they didnt, thats why no more was added sooo you know. I appriciate this more because of it. creates a more unique sound to them instead of falling into "just another nu metal band"-category, with screamy verses, a melodic 4chord chorus and one drop.
Listen to it a few more times, maybe youll come around to the sound more

Good chorus, with great vocals, but I was really holding on for a totally different rhythmic change in the mid section and more of a breakdown perhaps. I love Northlane and really excited for the album but out of the four tracks they’ve released so far from Obsidian this personally isn’t my favourite. I think Clockwork and Echo Chamber have been the best so far.
