- Sean Cadger created the Bakewell Tart Sour in 2015 at the Outhouse in Edinburgh, Scotland. Based on the Bakewell Tart dessert, this cocktail is slightly sour with cherry, almond, and cognac notes. It's easy to drink with multiple flavours on your tongue. Try it out, and let me know what you think.

Love this cocktail recipe. The ingredient flavours remind me of the flavours in a UK Bakewell tart. I had lots of laughs (with you) while watching you create this beauty. Fantastic video David, cheers!

What happens if I don't smile when I shake?
lol.... Then you have the serious shake, The shake that means business.... my very first videos were like that.
That's really good!! Tomorrow I think I'll try a different base that goes good with amaretto, a blended Scotch.... Does anyone know if that's a named riff?
I am not sure, But I would be interedted to hear how it turns out for you.

Well I did it... Not technically Scotch but Andalusia Stryker, a Texas Single Malt Whiskey. Really really good in the cool central Texas evening....
I think it's better than the Cognac version!!!
@@texas66 That does sound really good. Thanks for the update.
