@@Ryyian neither side was backing down. The refs let the game get out of control. It was obvious LSU wanted to make a point that they were not afraid of SC and played beyond physical. Both teams took it to that place. I actually really enjoyed the game and liked seeing no one back down.

If they’re on the opposite end of the bracket they can meet again sometime either in the final four or championship game.

#2 on South Carolina has some serious anger issues that she needs to sort out. I’ve paid close attention to her and I’ve noticed what a short temper she has. Kardoza (excuse me if I spelled her name wrong) came to her defense in a similar fashion when South Carolina played North Carolina. Look it up! #2 was essentially the cause of all that followed.
She didn’t cause it she was showing emotion and happy about fulwiley steal. Flajae pushed #2 Watkins and should have been DQed along with Kardosa!!

The referees had no guts to DQ the whole starting 5 of LSU but they will Cardoso for protecting her teammate. Automatic ejection for throwing a punch but Johnson is allow to continue, Williams punch didn’t count either this is how Carolina have been playing basketball for awhile the reason the whole freashies class (7) players graduated

Yall crack me up with all this judgement!!! That’s the way the game is played. Both teams got rough but refs weren’t the greatest. It was very one sided and that’s what happens when you let it get out of hand. Players get tired of being fouled with no calls then they breathe and get a foul on them. ‘Tis the life of basketball. Sad but true. Men do it all the time and are cheered. Women’s b ball is no different.
