Depending on the job university in the uk is very important the only problem here is the job market wants experience and that’s hard to come around but a lot of universities here in the uk offer courses with placement in the industry so I would say if you can university is a good choice
My partner went to university, 3 years later she is still working a job under 30k a year while I’m on almost twice that due to real work experience gained during those years
