These elemental decks make me really impressed with Stone Drake. It's exactly the stabilizing card that decks like this needed.

I mean technically if you combined it with brann and the minion that doubles the stats of minion in deck you could get over 100 power
@@BongShlong true. multiple lorethemars + blackrocks would be insane but just too hard to pull off. maybe against control priest or something its possible but otherwise unlikely

Honestly I don’t see why Velorock has charge instead of rush. Back when he needed 3 cards to transform I could see it since you wanted the reward to be worth it, but now that he needs only one he should just have rush.
Yeah so Velarok is not the problem of the format right now. He's actually on the fairer side at this point.

tried this myself but with only a couple of rush minions for removal and obv. no board clears, when you fall behind it's difficult to recover

Just tried a similar deck, can confirm playing a 64/256 stone drake and watching your opponent fold like a wet napkin feels amazing. This was right after a 8/32 one put him into a bad spot.
Is it a bug that using Finley removes the Therazane buff off the cards in your hand
The cards hold changes going from deck to hand to board. If they go backwards in this order they lose changes to them
This feels like an old school chump video, rediculous concept, interesting games, great execution!

Whomper draws a deathrattle card. Therazane is in hand. So whomper just draws nothing here.
@@Zoifersan right, but Finley send back therazane in the deck, so whomper's death rattle should work
@@mamiemando Again, whomper doesn't get any deathrattle if he drew nothing while played. He just becomes a plain 6/5 with no effects.
@@Zoifersan I understand this, but if you play Finley, then your Therazane is sent back to your deck and so whp you don't draw it. And then, when you play whomper, there is actually again your Therazane in your deck, so the whomper's battlecry will succeed. Or am I drunked ? :D

I like the videos, but I'd also like to see how this deck performs when you don't get the Hedge Maze and Whomper or Therazane from the very start.

The deck is hot garbage unless you draw exactly like chump drew in all of his games.
Since velarok says "After this attacks", every time it attacks the opponent can discover. I'd be interested to see what hysteria would do to velarok, but i'd assume the opponent doesn't discover
I think the result would be that the discover is chosen randomly, but that the opponent DOES still discover for each attack!
If its your turn (you discover hysteria and play it) you get to choose, if it's the enemy turn its random. In wild I had 5 velaroks on the board and the opponent played mass hysteria, filling my hand with random discounted crap.

My issue with these kinds of decks, is the fact that my opponent won't kill my death rattle, I can't destroy it on any of his minions, any he just keeps going face. Dead by turn 6. I rarely have a good combo in hand to trigger the death rattle.

Anyone else try this deck? I've tried a lot of his other decks, and done ok with them. This one is just not working for me. Losing to a lot of Aggro and OP board clear.

how are u getting buiffs on early mobs first game , your deathrattle on thera never happened, you keep getting buffs
The 6 mana 6/5 he coined. It draws a Deathrattle minion from his deck and gets its Deathrattle. So it basically becomes a thera. Then the location can trigger it without destroying
must be good rng, im never getting her deathrattle and no buffs , keeps giving me nothing from the 6/5 i guess

TBH it looks better than Elemental Shaman and Elemental Mage which is absolutely crazy. Blizzard designs cards for decks that are going to be worse at doing a theme compared to Druid and Rogue. Typical HS

This deck is absolutely beyond garbage. If you draw therazane before you play the whompers it bricks, if you draw therazane with a whomper finley cant save you unless you get supremely lucky and top deck the other whomper, whompers are dead cards after therazane dies, you cant target the most powerful drops in the deck (The stone drakes) with shattered reflections and often cant target One Amalgam Band either, the hedge mazes are also dead drops after therazane is dead, there's just so much potential to brick and whats they payoff?
Fun deck but u can instant surrender when u draw your legendary first. so again like always . dont craft these cards

Most of the current decks in the meta have multiple ways to deal with this meme deck, via silence, hard removals, bounces and polymorphs. I made the deck to try it for fun but it feels awful to play. You also gotta hope you don’t draw therazane if you dont have any hedge maze.
