- In today's Cruise Show UK, I take a Cruise Ship Shore Excursion while onboard the Mardi Gras.
Called Home Sweet Home, this tour is based in Grand Turk and is perfect if you are visiting on a cruise ship. The crystal blue waters were outstanding and there was something extra special about this excursion. Join me as I take you along with me. I was visiting on Carnival's Mardi Gras and purchased this tour directly through Carnival.

We did this excursion back in 2018. Loved it. One of my favorites all around.

At Grand Turk we always go to Jack’s Shack which is right up the beach from the cruise port. It’s were the crew usually go. Great food cheap beers and beach loungers. It’s always an Awesome day

We enjoyed this excursion and will be doing it again. Jackie was alot of fun and took great care of us. Delicious food for lunch. Highly recomended.

A beach house and not a hut, Mr David? Not cheap at all but considering a homemade lunch and drinks, you’re right worth every dollar. It also makes change from a large resort. I remember some of the locals spoke a strange lingo/dialect when Lucy and I called at Grand Turk on Crown Princess in ‘06. A girl thought I was a geisha for being Oriental and fanning myself under the hot weather. June of London

I think we met at the pier for 8:30 ish and arrived maybe 9:30. We stayed until around 2:30pm I’m not sure if you can stay on, as they have other groups arriving.

Hello. The road that runs alongside it is called Duke Street.
Are tourists allowed in the house?
Hi, as long as you are part of the tour, yes you can come and go as often as you like… but people just wandering along the beach do not have access to the house or facilities.
