From Texas to Sheffield: My Experience as an International Student

Having never previously left #Texas, Sarah Bloodworth made the journey to The #University of Sheffield to study #Journalism earlier this year.

It's really nice to see an international student come to the UK and not go to London!! I think everybody thinks that London is the place to be but like you say, if you want to get a more authentic UK experience than they are definitely many better places! I'm from England myself and I actually lived in Sheffield for 3 years due to my husband's job. I was amazed at how quickly the weather can change. The people in Sheffield are generally very friendly.
