  • The Gamblers square off against Slow and Steady, a Louisville APA team made up of Tracy Pearson, a Skill Level 4, and Michael Stumler, a Skill Level 7, in the fourth round of the 9-Ball doubles tournament. The Gamblers had to make 31 points while Slow and Steady went to 38.
    Slow and Steady started on a 12-0 run from the first to the second game. The Gamblers made their first point in the second game and won the second game, 7-3. The Gamblers went on a 13-0 run and needed 18 points while Slow and Steady needed 26.
    The Gamlbers need 10 points in the fourth game while Slow and Steady needed 22.
    Slow and Steady took the lead in the sixth game and needed less than nine points. However, the Gamblers tied it up in the seventh game, 31-24, and took the lead on their third point.
    The Gamblers closed the match on a 9-0 surge to advance to the quarterfinals. Ben Hunter and Patrick Murphy won the break three times while Pearson and Stumler broke four times.
