How to create a CV/Resume for CRNA School | Journey to CRNA

This CV I recently revised for a class assignment, but I detail the important points in each section that I believe are worth mentioning. Btw I’m not sure if this is the case for CRNA school, but in my experience I’ve always regarded a resume as a most recent summary of your qualifications relevant to that specific position in 1-2 pages, whereas a CV is an exhaustive detailing of allllllllllll your relevant work.
Since I’m old and have had a long and varied educational and professional background, on my resume, I only bullet my educational background essentials (degree, school, dates); on my CV I add to that my GPA, special distinctions and awards, relevant projects and/or publications. If I’m applying for a bedside job, I’ll only use my resume with the bedside roles in the last 10 years and related credentials. If I’m applying to a teaching position, I’ll share my clinical experience, plus teaching roles and educational credentials in a CV. Sometimes I’ll craft a 1-2 page resume for that teaching position and also include the CV, since both usually upload easily. That way you have something quick for HR to screen and 👍, then a deep dive ready for the Department head that wants to dig a little deeper.
The resume/CV thing can be super confusing but I hope that helps clarify when and why both are used differently sometimes. Cheers!
