I traveled to Greece for the first time to see what it's like to shop in one of the most famous travel destinations in the world! From the Athens antique market to the Mykonos beach club themed designer stores, and the Pinterest famous streets of Santorini - here is me going on a luxury shopping spree in Greece full Mama Mia style! (i had so many boyfriends here lol)
...and since you can't travel the world JUST to shop tehehe...we went sightseeing at the Acropolis enjoyed the Ancient Greek history too :P

We believe in bad eye as a culture.. even our church and religion accepted..BUT the evil eye as a symbol that is everywhere in tourists shops is not from our religion.its Turkish symbol.In fact,we believe that when you wear it attracts the bad fortune and not protect you...I m a Greek girl and i love that you loved my country❤

My husband and I went to Athens, Chios and Santorini for a wedding! It was amazing!! We took a boat ride to the caldera and jumped off into the hot springs. It was so much fun! We even saw mountain goats above us! ❤

Im so fortunate to have seen some of these places a few yrs back I’m in a wheelchair now, so it’s certainly not something I could do so easily now. I watch travel vlogs & love to travel, I could watch these videos for hrs. So insanely beautiful & brings back so many memories. Thank you for showing us Greece. My boyfriend and I were there in March on a cruise and saw The Parthenon and I bought an Aphrodite statue from The Hercules store! I loved the food and wine. 10/10. I had an out of this world pita wrap there that the US could never replicate. We were supposed to go to Santorini but our water taxi was cancelled, so I'm happy that I got to see it through your eyes.

p.s. little tip for any american visiting europe, if you see a body of water, it is not ocean, it is the sea. Only times you can say ocean is in Portugal, west Spain, Ireland, North Irelaland, Iceland, , Norway. Because those are the european countres that have a opening towards the ocean. Even if they are on west coast, some countries would have opening towards the seas not ocean, like France or Denmark. Example is north sea. In USA there are also named seas, by states, by islands, by bays... but it seems to me that americans dont learn about them, for example caribbean sea, beaufort sea, gulf of california...
The Atlantic Ocean borders the west coast of Metropolitan France (3 regions : Bretagne, Pays de la loire, Nouvelle Aquitaine)

As a Greek person living in Athena i can confirm that everything she shows are true. Keep on mind that Mykonos is extremely expensive and there are a lot beautiful islands you can visit without spending so much. I can confirm tho that she is 100000% true ❤

I was in Greece last weekend. It's one of my favourite places to visit. I visit a different European country every 2 weeks for fun as the flights are cheaper than a night out in my local city.

@@hlnb.6966 I live between the UK and Paris but I'm from Ireland, so visit all regularly. Flights within Europe are incredibly inexpensive.

@@hlnb.6966 I don't live in London so I can't comment on the prices there. I get easyjet and Ryanair flights, I book during their flash sales. The last flight I took was to Belfast, it cost €10 each way from Paris. No hidden extras as I always travel with hand luggage. The next flight will be to Copenhagen next week, to meet my cousin for lunch. Just because you don't avail of cheap flights, doesn't mean others don't take them.
Fun fact about the colums you saw in the musuem at 5:07; you can see a clear leftover space in the lineup of them, that is because the last collum is in the British musuem, and they are refusing to return it to Greece. The space was left on purpose to show off the fact that the collection is incomplete.
