I agree. I'm Hispanic and think the fight was judged well being chito couldn't do shito on the ground. And Song had the cleaner strikes. Admit it, Chito isn't champion material. Just a statistic.

I had Song Yadong winning but by split decision NOT unanimous. Vera did good but imo Song Yadong landed way WAY too many strikes, Vera left too many gaps for Song to score. Let's be honest, Vera could've won but we all know Song scored way ahead in rd 1. Rd 2 and 3 was just about equal for both fighters. Vera doesn't get point for takedowns because it wasn't scored takedowns. Using trips won't be scored at all and that's pretty sad. Takedowns are only scored if takedowns are by single, double leg, hip, arm or shoulder throw and on top of all that, you must successfully transit into, a guard. One other thing is that Vera did not do any type of damage from top position, he didn't score anything at all.

Vera lost it’s a big overreaction from people. Do I think he could’ve won uniamous decision not really. But for sure Song should’ve got the win in some form. Song landed more significant strikes that were hard while Vera barley did. Vera got some points in the clinch round 2 but otherwise he didn’t establish dominance.

Song landed more and cleaner head shots. That’s it. What about grappling, takedowns, control, ground and pound, Knees, elbows, leg kicks etc??? Vera won that fight. Also at the final bell Song dropped his head while watching Vera walk with his hands in the air and even his reaction as cards were read and he was announced winner looked surprised he won.
