Wow, this is truly a mesmerizing drum performance, my friend. I love your ping sound on the ride cymbal and the double bass footwork is really awesome 🔥🔥🥁💯😎🤘
I appreciate your comment so much, Tim. Glad you enjoyed it. I will be covering much of this album. I sometimes debate on whether or not the double-kick camera feature is worth doing... your thoughts? 😎🤘🤘⚡
I came by your channel-- congrats on all of your success. You are quite a showman! Subbed.
I always like a bit of the kick camera angle, not necessarily for the 'fast' sections but for the different rhythm switches/beat patterns that sometimes get less noticed in the accompaniment @@precisepercussion
Fantastic drumming👍
I appreciate that, Doc metal. Hope you like this album.
This was phenomenal, I really enjoyed it, you’re just such a darn good drummer, you always brighten up my day, I love watching you play, you’re a class act drummer, you remind me so much of Mike Portnoy, great job, Bryan, you’re the best, keep rocking my brother
I appreciate your comment so much, Bryan. Glad you enjoyed it. The fact that I remind you of such an amazing musician like M. Portnoy is very kind. I do my best to play the song the way he would play it. I've studied him, and he does so many things well. I will be covering much of this album. Sorry to hear about your job... it happens.

You are impressive Brian. But if i may make a point, you forget part of MP. This singing part 😂
Happy New year my Friend
That's all-him, Fred. 😊 He has more dimensions than I do, and the vocals are one of them. Thank you for the great comment, Fred. Happy New Year, my friend.
hahaha
great job as usual!!!
curious what your perspective is:
on a DT-only scale of difficulty
I find the 2nd half of this song to be one of the 'easiest' (simpler?), but
I find the first 1/2 of this song to be quite hard
two very distinct sections, joined seemlessly and without drawing any attention to the 'difference'
Thank you, Lo Pa. I appreciate your comment. DT-scale of difficulty is its own entity-- glad you depicted it that way. Anyway, yes, the first half has some complex/creative polys; whereas the primarily in the second half it's basically a "Heavy march" groove that repeats itself. Keep in mind that ostinatos which require 8th notes or faster, played in unison, can present a challenge. "Flamming", is an example, which shows up on a recording, but not so much during live performances. Some of John Bonhams' ostinato's can be quite challenging to replicate perfectly throughout an entire song-- "Fools in the rain" comes to mind. In fact, if one loses focus on timing, it can quickly get messy. In other words, sometimes, "Easy" can be harder. DT's transitions throughout their songs always seems so smooth, even though the phrasing, style, tempo, time sig, etc. may all change by the time you get to the end of the song. It's a credit to their brilliance. So, that's my perspective-- thank you.
wooo! thanks for the thorough and thoughtful reply ! @@precisepercussion
you only get better by playing!
That was Buddy Rich's famous line.
