I can relate to this after avoiding all spiders till i wanted the widow dagger, forced myself to master the widows timing and moveset, and after doing that, decided "well I suppose I know how to perfectly fight spiders now". I went to the oak tree and aggro'd 1 of the wolf spiders, but it's attacks were SO slow compared to the widows. I missed every parry and died...

@ethanbrookes3994 it can only be upgraded down mighty. Bows, crossbows, shovels, robot weapons, and elemental weapons/staffs can o ly be upgraded down mighty.

I’m pretty sure the trinket that makes your explosives stronger is the trinket from the infected broodmother and I’m also pretty sure you have the trinket
The infected broodmother one makes summons do explosives, i don't think there's a trinket that makes explosives stronger except thors pendant
Hey Cade I found a really good build against the infected broodmother, use the full assassin armor. Because every crit you get increases the chance of another crit and it can get all the way up to 100% pair it with a fresh toenail scimitar and trapper peeper and coupe de grass you can Max damage

If you want a tip for the infected broodmother never let her touch the water since it buffs her it can buff you if you drink it but it also debuffs you

There’s another pond in the upper yard with a ton of pond moss that you can find on the resource scanner that only has 1 water flea in it, would highly recommend

I need to start farming that thing...im actually happy the wasp boss is sometimes easier than regular wasps for me (on console aiming sucks) but now that my punch build is nerfed this shall be my new fun build...I don't really like using regular weapons... gets boring fast
Cade you should use the Mantis armor down sleek with the widow dagger and use assassin, coup de grass, trapper peeper, mom genes, and for the last one i use natural explorer if im not fighting a boss this build can shred through anything

I would recommend to use grass half walls to sneak past the rock
I think that the broken structures that Cade says "is a bug" go through the Raids that insects always do to him.

There’s a trinket that increases your defense from explosions it’s the fungal trinket you get it by destroying fungal growth but it’s like a one percent drop chance
oh man, i was just scrolling through your vids and came across battle cats and pocket ants and i had forgotten abt those series but just realised how much i missed them...its ok tho if u dont wanna continue them!! keep up the good work :)

You probably already know this but near the stump there is a pool of water where you can get pond moss and there’s only one water flee. There’s also Tier 2 Clay that drops about 15clay per deposit.
As I said you probably knew this and it would make for the same sort of entertainment if you’re being chase by 1 water flee or 15 haha

You can use the Moldy Blaster to kill grubs while they are underground and then just pick them up enmasse. ;)

a tip for fighting the infected brood mother is that of you let her touch the puddle of liquid in her boss room then she gets 3 buffs for a few seconds

but when you went down and i saw the infected broodmother i was like: "that shit is right next to my base?.."
Cade when you go to build try to switch it to large stem and grass pallets with clay pinecone and one lint rope
a little hint for you maybe get the trinket when you perfect block you heal yourself
i think the infected broodmother trinket gives more explosive damage or gives a random debuff to the enemy
It gives summons a chance to cause an explosion on attack. I don't think it affects your own explosions, but I don't know.

if you go above the wall of the yard on the left there is a new chest that has an infinite stamina dandilian puff
I don’t know if this is know or not but I I accidentally found out with the cross bow the second you shoot if you block it instantly reloads so you can basically go full auto as long as you have stamina

The whole mantis set maxed with sleek versions and scythe of blossoms on mighty then trapper peeper, coup de grass meat shield assassin and apex predator
It is over powered on crit damage

Cade if you have the stuffed animal of a aphid you can rub it for luck and if you have the mutation you can get 5 aphid meat from one aphid
You get need to eat sour lumps to get the final mutation
