It’s a banner day at Magic Beans: today we get to unbox a brand new stroller! In this video, Eli Gurock, co-owner of Magic Beans, unboxes and assembles the brand new mom-invented Austlen Entourage Stroller.
The Austlen Entourage Stroller is made to fit a family that requires a lot of flexibility on the go: you can use the Entourage as a single stroller or a double stroller, or even add a sit-and-stand to carry a third child. It’s also meant to hold a tremendous amount of cargo in the expandable basket and luggage bag, and to make your cargo easy to access on the go. The secret to the Austlen Entourage is a totally unique frame that easily expands forward, so you can add or subtract whatever you need on any given trip. We found it to be easy and intuitive to assemble and use - an absolute necessity when you’ve got a rapidly growing family!

how does this stroller do on non-smooth surfaces like grass, uneven sidewalk cracks, that playground mulch stuff, etc?
It's just okay. There is good suspension but you'd be better off with an all-terrain stroller like a Bumbleride Indie Twin, a Bob Flex Duallie or a Bugaboo Donkey IMHO. They are the best for all-terrain situations.

I read reviews that said it was top heavy, & tipped over easily. It looks incredible, but that sounds scary.

Can this stroller get into a standard elevator at it's extended length?
It depends on the size of an elevator. It's quite a long stroller, but really easy to collapse it to the smaller size.

I didn't see where the brake is?
Hi Lauren!
Sorry about that. It's on the back by the rear axle, and you engage it with your foot. But it's flip-flop friendly, and functions quite nicely. It's a similar brake to a Nuna Mixx if you are familiar with its brake.

Okay why wasn’t this stroller on your favorite strollers for the year ?!?! what’s it lacking
Hi Alexis! We stopped carrying the Austlen stroller a few years ago. We keep our assortment slim in effort to not overwhelm parents with too many options. Our collection is narrowed to the best in class models.
I'll start by saying that I really like the detail of the mbeans review videos. I enjoy watcing them, but the "ums" are super distracting. I honestly mean no disrespect and hope that this comes across as constructive feedback, because I do appreciate the videos :)

It would have been nice to have more view of the stroller rather than just your upper body.
